There has been an effort to clean up the homeless issue in SanFran, I know, and it's helped. There were a few the 1st night ( of a week long stay here) , they were gone the next day, but the smell was not. other than that I was quite happy with my stay here.

People strung out in the parking lot, very loud, not a good area. Lobby closed, checked in through night drop window, rude attendant and ignoring other guests. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend

Stayed one night. Our 2 bed room wasnt ready for an early check in so they offered us a king size bed and said they would deliver a roll away bed but never delivered the roll away bed. Wasnt the end of the world but still a small let down. Other than that it wasnt a terrible place just dated.

Feared for our lives
We turned up and actually just left and cancelled the reservation. The hotel is very over described and is nothing like what they advertised. My wife would not get out of the car.

The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner didn't work very well. The neighborhood was sketchy looking, dirty, and loud at night. There were sirens and people shouting often. We are pretty sure one of the rooms near by was being used by a "business woman." No judgement on anyone and my adult children definitely got a new cultural experience, but we found a different hotel for our return stay.
