The room was clean but the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust system that after taking a bath everything you hold on to is moist & wet. The bath towels are thin due to prolonged usage. There's no hair dryer no laundry facilities & request for room cleaning is not guaranteed. But as a whole I will give it 3 stars.

It was great in that it was a short walk to the ocean and not very expensive for the location. Biggest drawback, the door's safety latch was missing and the bed was so hard it felt like the floor .

The upgrades of white bed coverlets and laminate wood floors are good. Parking is included and convenient. The location is well situated for visiting the Embarcadero and waterfront.

We stayed in a deluxe room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean, and it was nice to have the extra space, a fridge, a microwave, and a small kitchen sink. However, there were only 4 hangers, no hair dryer and no coffee maker. I couldnt get the TV to show anything but the USA channel. There were no toiletries other than shampoo and soap attached to the wall of the shower. The bed was ok if you like a mattress that is somehow hard and squishy at the same time. Those who prefer flat, hard pillows will be in heaven. I asked the front desk for extra pillows and hangers, not once but twice, and they never brought any or got back to me. So I didnt see any point in asking for a hair dryer or a coffee maker. On the bright side, this is a good neighborhood for restaurants and coffee shops. This is not the worst hotel Ive stayed at, by a long shot. If the amenities and the customer service had been better, I would stay here again.

Simple. Old school style hotel. Front desk clerk helped with card key when entering our room. A little tricky and weird but it worked. Overall stay was good for a one night i wouldnt stay longer. Walking disrance to some cool mom and pop shops

I have to go down to the lobby every time I need to get in my room as the key they give says its working but it doesn't. Staff do come up (I'm in the third floor) and they see that all cards aren't working.

after sunrise they are impolite
there was no early check in even though multiple rooms were available that fit my request, the day time clerk was rude and didn't want to assist me with getting checked it, i sat in the cold from 6 am until 11:30 before he even considered helping me, had an attitude for every question i needed answered and the bathroom had a whole in the room , my door was not secure and would not close or lock properly.
