We travelled to San Fran by air so took the Bart into The city and hotel just two minutes walk. Also great location for all the other forms of transport to help you explore the city. Great little cafe next door for breakfast as well

Great location, walkable, just a short ride to the chase center, the walls were a bit thin as we could hear the elevator and people in the hall. Our stay was enjoyable.

Its no secret that it's not in the sexiest neighbourhood of SF, it is very handy to the Powell St Metro Station as well as several bus stops, Trader Joe's and Target Supermarket. Yes the interior is dated and has visible signs of ageing but for their comparatively low price-point for hotels in SF, I think you get value for $. I think it must be a US-Hotel thing, but they don't offer any cutlery or bowls etc if you want to have cereal for breakfast etc. At check-in, I did hear some other customers checking-out early complaining of rats/mice in their room, but I can confirm I didn't have any issue and I was on the 3rd floor. The walls are fairly thin and I could hear this annoying British woman scolding her child for 30 minutes straight on repetition. The aircon works. Bathroom is small but I'm travelling solo so it didn't affect me. The room was very clean and they have their front reception entry doors security-pass locked during the day as well.

Near Union square and across from the tenderloin!
We found it odd to be buzzed in but appreciate why since it is very close to the Tenderloin. Has a great mezzanine for online meetings. On the last night there was a lot of street noise as people were cleaning the former treasury building across the street, but reception people were considerate and professional.

When I came to the hotel the front doors were closed l told the hotel was closed i walk around to see if other door ti get in and i saw homeless ln the surrounding, i went back to the front then the front desk lady open the door it took a while to open the door i guess she was the only one working.
