The hotel apartment was very clean and would be perfect for a longer stay. The kitchen was roomy with a full size fridge. There were stores close by, but it was easier to get around with Uber. The breakfast had a variety of food and security was good. I’d recommend this hotel, it offers a lot for a good price.

We stayed in what seem to be a small apartment. It was definitely outdated but clean. We did have a leak from the roof that we only noticed when we had a puddle on the bathroom floor. We also ended up next to the busy road which made it very hard to sleep at night due to the noises from the road. The hotel itself was in a good area for restaurants and shopping. It is also about 20 minutes from the airport.

This property had a very friendly staff and was immaculate. It was perfect for our family, offering us an apartment-style room with lots of space. I would have loved a few more amenities in the room — in particular, a coffee setup with coffee in it so that we didn’t have to go to the main building to get coffee. Also, wash cloths in the bathroom would have been nice. Our stay was just a couple of days. This place might be better suited for a long enough stay where you buy groceries and really set yourself up. But again, it was great.

The property is really well secured and maintained. The room was really clean and had a kitchen and the. Refrigerator also had two pulse.One was heated one was not. The breakfast was okay and everybody is very friendly

We love Villas Del Rio and have returned 8 . It’s a safe and well cared for Oasis in the middle of Escazú. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and Dental offices across the street. A great place to stay while in San Jose. They provide transportation to and from SJO and free breakfast daily. The staff are friendly and helpful and they make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Mauricio is wonderful and has helped us a great deal with transportation and other services to enhance our visit. Reasonably priced, secure gated Villas within walking distance to Escazu shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended

This hotel is a fantastic option for families who want more convenient accommodation than 1 standard hotel room. It has apartments with various numbers of bedrooms and full kitchen. The heated pool is very nice addition. Everything is very clean. The stuff is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
