Paseo Caribe as whole seems it’s been declining. No choices for dining unless you get out of the area. The front desk personnel was amazingly good. The guy who did our check in was working double shift (sorry I forgot his name) and still he has the best attitude. He needs to be truly recognized. The room was clean. It has an amazing view.

La ubicación es muy buena cerca del Viejo San Juan y varios lugares donde comer. Para esta ocasión separamos 2 habitaciones por 4 noches. A una de las habitaciones le dieron servicio de housekeeping un solo dia por que notificamos en el lobby. El servicio solo consistió en arreglar las camas y botar la basura del zafacón que se encuentra en el área donde estan las camas. En el área del baño cambiaron las toallas pero no limpiaron ni botaron la bazura. A la otra habitacion, nunca le dieron el servicio de housekeeping.

A terrible experience- but the staff were nice.
When I arrived at 8:30 pm, I checked in and went to my room. The door opened but there were dirty towels on the floor and the tv was on. I assumed they had given me the key to someone else’s room. But no, it was my room, it simply had not been cleaned since the last guest checked out. And because it was 8 PM, there was no housekeeping to clean the room. At the same time I was checking in, another guest was complaining about a flood in their room from the shower. That guest was supposed to be transferred into another room. However, they only had one room left, so they gave it to me and told her they would give her towels to mop up the floor. The hotel had very pleasant staff, but it was dirty. Once I did make it into my room the next day, the refrigerator was filthy and had dried ice cream stuck inside. There were clumps of hair in the hallways and they had no washcloths. The shower water only reached Luke warm temperatures, and none of the toiletries were filled to the top. Towels were not replaced unless you requested it and it took forever for them to be received. Again, the staff was very kind, but this hotel is not someplace I would ever stay again.

This hotel needs a total makeover period. Old carpets I. Room with a mosh mash of faucets and shower with little water. This was an emergency one night stay for me but I would not stay here again.
