Hotel is beyond beautiful. had an amazing time. only issue we encountered was that the AC would stop work after 1am and it would get extremely hot, but after 4am the ac would get cold again and the room was freezing.

This was my second time staying at San Juan Fairmont, and my first experience was wonderful, but this stay was utterly disappointing with the disrepair, and insects (roaches), uncleanness of the room(s). And no compensation for the inconvenience!!! We were told the first room through Expedia was basically less high end, basically "you get waht you paid for." Expedia should let customers know that once you book through them you'll get second rated accommodations.

I had a very good stay but I think this would be considered more of a 4 star hotel in my opinion. The beach was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was just average, and the food on site was mixed. Some items were very good, but others were below average, especially for a 5 Star hotel. It was VERY convenient to the airport but still quiet. Good spot for a quick getaway

The room was dusty. I guess it was my fault because I came early and they felt they had to rush to clean it. After paying so much to stay there, they charged me an extra $69.00 per night in resort fees to use their pool and beach area. I felt that should have been included in the stay.

First day of checking in I go to shower and the body soap dispenser is completely empty. Other issue, we did not have a safety deposit box in our room but other rooms had one.

The property was nice but the fire alarm kept going off. We lost power a few times during our stay. The water cut out on us a couple times also. The overall experience was good, and we would recommend to others assuming the power issues were just a fluke.

I enjoyed the layout of the resort, overall. However I think the rooms are in need of some renovation, including the hallways. Nonetheless, great experience but the aesthetics just doesn’t match the Fairmont establishment brand.

Stayed 4 days and on the first day while trying to sleep I heard a noise. Turned on the light and the ceiling was dripping. I called downstairs and they moved me to a room with lights that didn't work. It was weird that they have flash lights in the closet. Woke up the next day and at 6:50 lights are out. Waited 2 hours for them to come back on and they go out again for another 1hr. When they finally come back on, later on I asked for a new room and they couldn't accommodate. The only things I can say I liked was how fast they clean your room and the casino along with some nice uber drivers. I travel a lot and to not be accommodated or refunded anything like a resort fee for the issues is insulting.

I stayed here with my two children October 2024. The only negatives I experienced were 1) a weird musty smell in the hallways and room, mingled with one of those hotel fragrances they pump into the air. 2) the hallways need some attention. marks, nicks scratches on the walls to be fixed/painted. It gives a rundown appearance. Other than that everything was great. Cana restaurant was really good for dinner, ok for breakfast. Pool and beach were exactly what I wanted. Free Sunbum sunscreen!!!
