Seem better days.
This hotel has seen better days. It had been over 15 years since I stayed at this property. The hotel seems ‘run down.’ The furniture and decor is somewhat dated. The bathroom shower seems old and leaks around the glass. The water never really gets hot. The pool bar is nice but there are a lack of chairs. The bar didn’t take credit cards either. Notably, the main lobby has only one working elevator — other guests stated that this has been the case for many years. To the hotel’s credit…the power went out on the island but the hotel had an adequate generator to keep power going. The staff is generally nice and the beds are comfortable but otherwise, this hotel is not that great, it needs a major renovation, I would consider other hotels in the area before staying here.

The rooms were extremely dirty. The key cards stopped working everyday. The elevator was very very slow and even stopped working at one point. The staff was okay. Like they hear the complaints so much that they wasn’t really concerned. Tried to change my room and it was worst than the first one.

Hotel is very old and in need of massive renovation. Elevator out of service,no restaurant on site, no cable tv in rooms no room service. overall a poor experience for $500.00/night. crowded beach few umbrellas try somewhere else would not stay again.

The hotel is very outdated. Rooms decent, shower not hot enough and dropped when turned off so you can hear the tap of water every few seconds. No ice bucket.. Very small congested beach area. Not enough pool chairs. Bartenders are not the friendliest. Ordered food and it kept getting delayed and after over an hour, i cancelled. They told me to complain to the kitchen myself. One elevator was not working, so other 2 packed and had to wait a decent amount of time. The property is at the end of Ashford Ave so you have to work 7-10 mins or uber down to where there is restaurants and some night life. I will never stay here again or refer anyone.

Good location and convenient to the bridge, which leads to old San Juan and other jurisdictions. This property has its own beach, which opens up to the public as well. Cons: Only one elevator working. Room Service was poor. Slow service at mason cafe. Only 5 available umbrellas at the beach. AC makes noise. Closet is in the bathroom. Shower pressure wasn’t that great. Bathroom doors don’t lock.
