This is a 31-day vacation rental. Perfect for a snowbird. You don’t need to go very far to enjoy the sun and surf. One block from the beach located off of East Cliff Drive between Capitola and Yacht Harbor. This hideaway is ideal for a couple. This second-story one-bedroom, one-bath, is warm, comfortable, and very inviting. Gourmet kitchen and great room look out at an outside deck. The outside deck allows you to BBQ and check out the waves at the beach along with a view of the lagoon. This 700 sqft.a guest house has all new floors, tile work, appliances, cabinetry, countertops, and home décor. It is adjacent to the Hawaiian Style Beach House VRBO #123636
, but shares no common walls or hot water and is very private.

So you don’t waste time getting to the beach we have beach chairs, towels, and a couple of boogie boards for your use while you stay at Hale Nalu.
Why stay at Hawaiian Hideaway: This house is a perfect place for people who want to spend time at the beach. The beach is only a short block away. It is a beautiful beach and wonderful for long walks and for all types of beach activities. The beach is not a crowded beach and is only for the locals in the area. The house itself is ideal for guests who like to spend the night at home with BBQ on the outside deck, Plasma T.V., and a gourmet kitchen. Or if you like to go out at night the house is located 2 miles from Capitola, which is a beach town loaded with lots of restaurants and shops. The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is located 3 miles and has activities for all generations. The entire Monterrey Bay has a great number of things to see and do. You could take day trips to see the Monterrey Bay Aquarium and to Carmel. I provide a Welcome Book at the house, which is loaded with things to see and do. The benefit of staying at this guesthouse is the location and the renovations, which allow you to be very comfortable.
What activities are close to the house?: Beach Activities: The ocean is one block from the house and is loaded with things to do. There is surfing, boogie boarding, skimboarding, swimming, and a great beach for long walks. Don’t miss the tide pools in the rocks and great boogie boarding at Sunny Cove located to the far right side of the beach and around the corner.
Surfing: One of the best surfing beaches in all of California is just a mile south. Pleasure Point begins at 33rd Ave. and goes until 41st Ave. Another good beginner break is Cowell’s Beach, which is just north of the Santa Cruz wharf 3 miles away. For big waves, especially in the winter months, there is Steamer Lane, which is a little further north along West Cliff Drive at Lighthouse Point. This is also a great place to watch some of California’s best surfers. Most surf shops offer rentals and several outfitters that offer lessons are attached below.
