The property was great and newly renovated. The location was also great and felt very safe. One thing I did notice was a odd smell coming from the bathroom, which would increase every time I would run the faucet or the toilet (maybe a plumbing issue?). Nothing major though. 10/10 stay.

Hotel was lovely! Parking was a bit challenging but manageable. Our balcony was wonderful right across the street from the boardwalk which can be kinda loud but know where your staying. Not tons of food options due to pier being shut down but still very happy with our stay.

The location can’t be beat! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but fine for a couple nights. It was pretty noisy when people were in the halls, but that’s due to other guests not being more considerate. The attached coffee shop had great coffee and pastries, too.

Great location- across the street from the board walk. The room was not that clean. The bathroom shower had some mold. We had a partial view room and sadly our view was a building that was under construction.

I am traveling as a solo, to meet family and friends, and to get some beach time. I have always loved visiting Santa Cruz. This place is a real find. You walk across the street to the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are absolutely wonderful and friendly and helpful. This will be my go to place for visiting Santa Cruz in the future.

Needs Better Communication
There is a large construction project going on across the street that was very noisy. The hotel staff offered no information as to parking fees, location of ice machines, how to use the TV or thermostat, or local venues to visit. The receptionist on checking was rude. The room was very clean and comfortable and maid service was very good
