The space
The Kachina Suite is located in the historic, remodeled 1910 Territorial House. Enter your suite from the flowering garden. The King-size bed is draped with an Aguayo and matching pillow set; a woven textile from the Andes. The limestone bath is spacious, includes an oversized tub and high-end bath products. Your gas chimney will burn warm and set the stage for a relaxing visit. The headboard from India is carved in wood and hand painted. This suite has a collection of pieces including an Amphora, a ceramic transport vessel from the Spanish Colonial period. The walls are adorned with a unique piece of hand painted linen from the Andes Altiplano in the North of Chile. The room is covered in a warm light that emanates from large windows covered in custom wooden blinds. The original brick floors are covered with a full-size cow hide rug. The private patio offers a swing loveseat from the 1950's. The Gourmet Inn will lavish you with the eclectic flavor of Santa Fe, a collection of historic and family memorabilia surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo mountains and over 19 New Mexico territory pueblos. Wander off to Canyon road and enjoy an abundance of galleries.
