Joyful and Bright 2B in Heart of Railyard District

Casa Martillo, located in the heart of the historic and trendy Railyard Area, is a bright, cozy loft in a perfect part of town! The Railyard, Santa Fe Plaza, Museums, Canyon Rd and an array of bars and restaurants are all within a one to fifteen minute walk! Bringing Fido? Frank Ortiz dog park only a 7 minute drive. Great for couples, skiers, small families, and furry friends! Free parking around the corner (2 min walk to unit).

Casa Martillo is located in the upstairs back unit. The front door is accessed by an outdoor staircase. There is no elevator.

There is free parking available around the corner for 2 cars, just a two minute walk to the unit. Parking details will be sent after booking. There is also paid meter parking right in front of the building for loading or unloading.

The Railyard District is Santa Fe's premier destination for focused regional and international contemporary art. Located 7 blocks southwest of the Plaza, the spacious warehouse style venues are within walking.

The district comprises the train depot (Rail Runner service between Santa Fe and Albuquerque), integrated walking paths, breweries/coffee shops/boutiques, and even recognized brands like REI. There is something for everyone to enjoy here.

Santa Fe's leading contemporary art galleries are located seven blocks southwest of the downtown plaza in the historic Railyard District and include Blue Rain Gallery, Charlotte Jackson Fine Art, Evoke Contemporary, form & concept, LewAllen Galleries, Tai Modern, and Zane Bennett Contemporary Art along with the contemporary art museum SITE Santa Fe.

Guests staying longer than two weeks will have access to the washer/dryer.

Please Note: Our Television DOES NOT have regular TV. There is one Smart TV so you can log into any of your favorite streaming services to watch. We also offer free wifi.

As a woman owned business, and a women run business, we will protect our employees and their time.

Our cleaning team DOES NOT USE SCENT FREE DETERGENT. Please take that into consideration when booking.

Our cleaning team will enter at 10:05 AM on day of checkout. Guests will be charged an initial $50 for any late check out after 10 AM and an additional $100 for every half hour our cleaning team must wait.

Guests will also be charged $150 for attempted early check in. We value our employees and the incredible work they do (we know you will too, once your see how sparkling clean and neat our units are.). Please give them their space to do their job. Thanks!

Perfect stay in Santa Fe
Went to Santa Fe for a wedding and we stayed for 2 nights it was the perfect location. Hosts we incredibly responsive. The place actually looked a little bigger in person than in photos. We were incredibly comfortable and would 100% stay here again next time I visit Santa Fe.

perfect weekend getaway
WOW!!! This property was adorable. Everything was clean and adequately stocked with every day needs. The property owner was so easy to communicate with. The location could not have been better. We were walking distance to all the excitement of the downtown area. The bookstore right across the street also has a great selection of books and though we did not eat dinner there, the italian restaurant next door was a convenient spot to grab dessert for a meal we cooked in.

We had wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as described and the perfect amount of space for four of us. The welcome bag of snacks was much appreciated. We were so close to many downtown attractions we didn’t need the car at all. Would definitely go back!

Casa Martillo was perfect!
We loved staying in this vacation rental. It was an easy walk to points in historic Santa Fe, and an easy drive to museum hill and restaurants in the area. The loft was clean and well appointed. The AC worked great and we loved the air purifier too. We were comfortable and had plenty of room with 3 adults and a teenager. Charlotte was very attentive to our needs and even brought us a few welcome gifts to help us settle in! The offsite parking was a truly minor inconvenience, and was a very short walk. All in all, we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location!
This rental was really nice but the online pictures just don't do it justice. That's the only reason accuracy of listing is 4 instead of 5. the location is perfect, smack dab in the middle of so much to see and do in historic downtown and still just a short drive from trails and fantastic scenery. The unit was immaculate and the welcome package gave us a smile after a long day of airport delays. Charlotte did a wonderful job coaching us on location, nearby events/sight seeing, check in and check out. A+ experience hands down. We would certainly stay here again!

Loved everything about this place including the host. Only thing I wish were better was I want the parking on site. It’s about a 2 minute walk from parking. It’s not bad but feels like an eternity in the dark alone or after a day of adventure.

The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very close to the railyard district and about 15min walk to the plaza area. We enjoyed all the walking but this could be a deterrent to those who are less active. Overall great place!

Great location!
Knowing nothing about Santa Fe I chose this property based on price and what seemed a good location. I couldn’t have made a better choice if I knew what I was doing! We could easily walk to the plaza and the many nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Our host Charlotte made sure we could get in touch with her, but we didn’t need to. Her place was very clean and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Home Away From Home in Santa Fe Railyard District
Casa Martillo, a warm and well-lighted home away from home, is located in the Railyard District. A gift bag of goodies and a surprise in the refrigerator welcome you. The 2-bedroom home is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The furnishings and artwork offer an aesthetically pleasing place to relax after a day of adventure and discovery. The kitchen offers enough tools, pots and pans, and 2 coffee-making options. The shower-only bathroom provides enough towels, toiletries such as body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and a hair dryer. The Railyard is minutes away by foot, and offers the Farmer's Market and Artist's Market on Saturdays, the Violet Crown movie theater complex, REI and other shops, and food places such as Second Street Brewery, Boxcar, and Tomasita's. Around the neighborhood, there are the bakeries, Sage Bakehouse and Modern General, and the shops, Peruvian Connection, Smash Bangles, and On Your Feet, as well as a variety of restaurants such as Paloma, Cowgirl BBQ, and Andiamo. For those who could not go by the Farmer's Market, and want to buy groceries to cook meals, Whole Foods is close by. The Santa Fe Plaza and its surrounding shops, museums, restaurants, and historical sites, is within an easy walking distance. After a day of walking exploration, Hotel Santa Fe, minutes from Casa Martillo, has spa services to help ease achy muscles and feet. Charlotte Fox, the owner-manager of Casa Martillo, is caring and responsive. Her communication and instructions are straight forward and clear. The house rules are minimal and reasonable. If Casa Martillo's 2-bedroom accommodation does not suit your needs, consider Charlotte's other rental units. We would definitely work with Charlotte again if our future travel plans bring us to Santa Fe.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway in Santa Fe!
This is a beautiful condo in a great location! You can't go wrong with booking your stay here. The property owner, Charlotte, goes above and beyond to make guests at home. We can't wait to come back and will definitely be booking here again in the future.
