This was my first solo travel trip in years and I wanted a destination that made me feel safe and welcome. The hotel staff is amazing, friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is great and has everything you need for a good stay. They have the food, the drinks, the entertainment. There’s nothing else to ask for! I loved my stay and will definitely be back soon!

Great customer service, very helpful and pleasant. Food was tasty especially the Italian restaurant. The pool area was clean and the adult pool was only adults. Rooms were large and very clean. Beds were great with comfy pillows and bedding.

It's a great location, and we had a nice room. Having only 3 restaurants to eat in for a week is difficult. The food in the Tortuga pool house for lunch was at best, ok. At times the hot food was not hot at all. I can't eat a lot of uncooked food when traveling.

This was our first time staying at a Barcelo, and first time in Huatulco. We upgraded our room to Premium Level as we wanted a view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with lots of storage space! The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was a good size. There is coffee in the room and a small fridge that was stocked with beverages and snacks. There is a small safe in the room (too small for laptop or iPad). Our room also had robes and slippers. The pool temperatures were lovely, as was the ocean! The beach is quiet, sandy, beautiful. We ate at the Mexican restaurant once and the Italian twice - both were fabulous. We were lucky enough to have Victor as our server at both - he was great! Omar at the main buffet was also wonderful. We were also very impressed with the quality and freshness of the food at the buffets; there were lots of options (and vegetarian options) - absolutely no complaints regarding the food. Every night there was a show at their theatre and often some live music in the lobby bar area before the nightly show. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

In general the stay was OK and with excellent location. All the staff and personnel were kind Unfortunately the maid service was overwhelmed cleaning and setting up the rooms for new tourist and they forgot to clean and make our bedroom twice. We suggest to improve little bit your cuisine.

Superb location and excellent size to get around conveniently. Everything was great except the food was subpar. As expected at AI’s but with paying for the Premium Level I would have hoped it was better than average. Although there are 3 great dinner options within a couple blocks. Tours arranged by resort were excellent.

I liked the nightly shows, the entertainers are very good and they have a different show every night. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. I don't drink much but they few mixed drinks I had were a bit too sweet and had very little alcohol. The beach is not for not-swimmers, it very deep but very clean.

Excellent ubication, nice beach, nice view, but the best are the staff all are incredible I don't have good Memory but I want recognize two persons super friendly and helpful Jesus Villegas in the bar and Maria Reyes. Maybe they need to improve the variety of food a litte, but it's a good place to relax

Excellent Property! Staff was friendly and professional. Food was the same as any other all inclusive resort. Entertainment was the best I’ve ever seen at a resort! I would definitely return. But next time I’m better off booking directly through the resort. I seems you get better deals and perks. I got zero for booking with Expedia

Front desk staff were not helpful at all. Coffee machine in lobby never worked and nobody seemed to care. Food was mediocre at best. Getting reservations for the restaurants was more difficult than needed.
