The Space:
This cozy property has 4-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms, and can sleep up to 8 guests:
-Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed
-Bedroom 2: 1 King Bed
-Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed
-Bedroom 4: 1 Double Bed
Inside the property, you'll find the 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs with vaulted ceilings, while the basement features 2 bedrooms and a game room, perfect for the kids to play foosball or watch movies.
Outside, start your mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, surrounded by the serene sounds of nature. After a day of exploring, unwind in the hot tub or enjoy a rejuvenating session in the barrel sauna. In the evenings, the fire pit is perfect for making s'mores or gathering around under the starlit sky.
Guest Access:
Check-In
You'll access the property upon arrival via smart lock. Your unique smart lock code will be provided to you the morning of check-in. Our team is available should you have any issues during check-in.
Parking
Free parking on the premises for up to 3 cars. Our cabin is accessed via a one lane gravel road. Easily accessible with 2WD, however we highly recommend 4WD in the winter months as snow/ice could cause safety concerns.
Property
We ask that you kindly do not explore beyond the property boundaries or down any roads connecting to the property as this is private property. We have lovely neighbors but we would appreciate if you could save the exploring for nearby Gorges State Park.

Located in the scenic town of Sapphire, NC, this cabin is perfectly situated for nature enthusiasts. With close access to Gorges State Park, you'll have easy access to thousands of acres of hiking trails, wildlife, and breathtaking waterfalls. The peaceful, mountainous area offers a serene escape while still being within a short drive to local attractions and landmarks. Enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility that Sapphire has to offer.
Getting Around:
Most of the surrounding area is accessible with 2WD, however we highly recommend 4WD in the winter months as snow/ice could cause safety concerns.

Amenities/Basics
Guests will be provided with starter kits of coffee, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, a garbage bag, dish soap and dishwasher pods. Since usage of these products might vary depending on how long you stay or the number of guests in your party, guests will responsible for providing their own after the starter kits are gone.
Pets
We are happy to welcome furry friends for $125 per pet per stay. We can welcome up to 2 dogs under 55 lbs. each, however cats are not allowed due to owner allergies. We kindly ask to not allow pets on beds or furniture and please pick up after them so all of our guests can have an enjoyable experience.
Smoking
Please be aware that this property is a smoke-free environment. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted inside. Any sign of smoking is a violation of our rental agreement, which may result in immediate termination and recovery fees beginning at $1500.
Parties
Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that you do not host any large gatherings, parties, or events at this property.
AC & Heating
The cabin contains baseboard heating and window AC units throughout. Additionally, there is a wood burning stove in the basement perfect for the winter months. Our cabin is on septic so please be mindful and only flush toilet paper.
Propane
Please note that this property has a propane tank for the grill, but we do not refill/replace empty containers, nor do we reimburse for refills. There may be enough propane for your use from the previous guests, but if not, empty containers can be exchanged at gas stations, grocery stores, etc.
Wi-Fi
We are located in a rural mountain setting, so fast internet is hard to come by. We have the best possible internet for the area but you may still experience slow speeds if there are too many users. Please take this into consideration if you're planning to work remotely from the property.
Cell Service
You may lose cell service on the drive in but should regain it upon arriving at the cabin. We'd recommend downloading offline Google or Apple Maps prior to your arrival so you don't get turned around.
EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES HURRICANE POLICY: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months when there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.
