Due to the last 2 hurricanes that hit Florida’s west coast, the property has a little bit of damage but for the most part, the room is clean and has been remodeled recently. I will definitely stay there again.

You get what you pay for. Rate was fair. Didn’t take long to understand why once in the room. A/C unit made horrific noises all night. Bed squeaked with every slight movement. Room had no shower curtain. (First time I’ve ever seen that before) 👎

I’m not sure I was even staying at the same hotel as some of these reviews. To be fair, this hotel has been/is going through renovations. But in reality, this is one of those old-school motels that cater to people who can’t for a decent place. I made the mistake of reserving, and I went with it based on the reviews. My first night I pulled up to check in and a drunk driver, probably from the smoky tiki bar, drove through a stone wall into the pool area. My second night there I drove up and there was probably 10 to 15 guys, shirtless, smoking weed, being rowdy at one of the end units. I proceeded to go into the lobby where another lady and her son had to come in and explain these men were videotaping her and making comments. She didn’t feel safe and she wanted to leave. I certainly didn’t feel safe walking around as a woman period. The place is filled with all men Construction workers. The tiki bar is so smoky to even sit at, even though it is outside. It’s a Haven for the local drunks. I understand they’re trying with this place, but it’s worth another few dollars to say at a name-brand chain. This place is Gross.. To top it off, there are ants everywhere. I didn’t even eat in the place, and their ants all in my bags. I am sure they are all in my truck by this point. I would have left, but I didn’t have the money last minute to change. And with the hurricane that just went by, there aren’t a lot of choices.
