Lovely stay.
Very pleasant stay. Not huge rooms and bathroom especially not very big. Limited storage space also. Our air conditioning kept going up ,which was a little problem having to keep turning it up. But the most friendly staff you could ask for. All so helpful and welcoming. Needed car to get into town as on quite a steep hill.

Shortcommings for a 3 star
Small room for 2 adults and a few suitcases and voila, cramped. Expected a little more Ifrom a 3 star hotel associated with Best Western. Reception staff were very accommodating and pleasant. 3 night stay but cleaning of room and restocking of ammeneties not up to standards. Great location

On the outskirts of the town, but only a, short walk. This hotel is opposite a shopping centre and eating options. There's a great chinese buffet a few yards away. Rooms are small and a little dated, but that reflects in the price. I would deffo stay again.

Deserves an extra star
One of the nicest desk clerks I have ever encountered. Utterly delightful, and she recommended a dinner I will never forget. The rooms are small, but you can get two rooms at this price. Plenty of good parking. Not sure about Wifi. Very clean, safe, hot showers, comfy beds. A winner, in my book.

Waste of time hotel
Absolute waste of money. Arrived at the hotel in the evening and the hotel front door and reception where closed. Outside the hotel is an automatic hotel check-in machine which is fairly common in cheaper French hotels. Recognised the reservation on the machine and took an additional card payment for hotel tax and then printed out a receipt with room number and door code. Code did not work and the number on the door went to an office that was closed. After and hour speaking to hotels.com and trying to contact the hotel number we gave up and ended up staying in the Hotel Perigord. Complete waste of time and money, felt seriously let down by hotels.com this time.

Remarkable host.
Fabulous host! He went out of his way to help us, and assured us that we would have a pleasant stay. When I told him that my first visit to France was in 1947, in uniform, he asked about my military career and we both enjoyed a good laugh over it. At the continental breakfast, he oversaw the preparation of our eggs. He was very proud to deminstate his new orange juice machine. You drop an orange into it, and the freshest conceivable juice comes out the spigot. We expressed concern about available parking at the rendezvous point for our Caves tour. At that, he introduced us to his immaculate 1975 Citroen, and personally drove us to the spot. In my many years of travel, he is by far the best host we have ever run across. And, oh yes, the property. Very nice.
