I have stayed at the parktown a few times before but this time was very disappointing. From the elevators not working at check in and i had to haul my suitcase up 6 floors. Alarms going off when i checked in. And the AC not working in my room. It was 25 degrees in the room and all they could tell me is that they have a one boiler system and offered me a fan. To which it never arrived. I did speak with front desk several times. Didn't get much sleep that night

I love staying here and have for many years. This last trip was just ok as they are doing renovations and we had some issues with paint fumes. Looking forward to the finished product and I will stay there again

I stayed here for work. Was okay - beautiful on the river but rooms were outdated. Doors had no locks on them, as a solo traveling female I didn’t love that. The bar outside also had some issues after hours that security had a hard time with so a little loud.

I’d like a refund! It was horrible. Barely slept Stayed here lots. Last night was horrible. Hot. Hot hot! No way to cool the room off never slept. Called front desk they sent a fan up! For the price of last nights stay. I could’ve stayed at the James for the same price! And had air conditioning! I’d like a refund!

Clean and comfortable room...great front desk staff. The room was nice but a little cramped as a smaller 'cabinet' would give more room for the table and chair. Also, it should not be necessary for cleaning staff to clean windows...but, it would have been nice that no 'greasy forehead' marks were on the window.
