King suite room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Underground parking convenient and staff courteous and friendly. Expected bit more for room cost in so far as soap/shampoo (cheap brand wall dispensed). Close to shopping, however not many nearby restaurant dining establishments (other than Subway/fast food) within 15 min walking distance during inclement weather. Stayed two nights, walked & ate at Montana's and Sukhdev (Indian) (would highly recommend both). Stayed here as recommended close for Agawa Canyon Train Tour, however after walking recce evening prior, drove to Tour train departure day of tour, as too far.

So here is a huge warning to others about this hotel ... there are a number of rooms located within the center of the building that DO NOT HAVE WINDOWS!! Instead, just a very small skylight in the middle of the room, not enough to ventilate or remedy the terrible, gloomy impression this creates. The hotel, and Expedia, need to highlight that these rooms are offered at the same rate as many other normal, exterior wall rooms, with windows. I should be entitled to a rebate or some compensation for my 2 night stay, as I was forced to pay an extra $ 30/night in order to be allowed to stay in a normal type room with one window. I was attending a wedding in town, and several other members of our party did receive a regular type room with window at the same rate as we paid. Again, it is very important that Expedia and Days Inn advise those booking of such rooms! Such a shame as the window rooms, while small and plain are comfortable, clean and the complimentary breakfast was great.

We stopped at this hotel on our cross-country roadtrip. It was only for a night so we could sleep and get back on the road in the morning. It was good enough for just that. There is a weird smell in the hallways and there was a hair on the toilet when we arrived. Staff was friendly and the hotel is in front of a small mall which was convenient. Parking is easy and free. It wasn’t horrible but also not great.

All was fairly good. We requested new sheet for the pullout bed because there were crumbs on them when we arrived, but didn’t get them. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, the area was a little rough around the edges but okay for our short stay - we didn’t need to walk anywhere.

It was a great stay at the Days Inn! The hotel is downtown Sault Ste. Marie with easy access to the Canyon Tour train, canal historical site and a walk along the waterfront. It was also an easy 5 minute walk to Montana's for dinner. Underground parking was easy to access. We would definitely stay here again!

Property should upgrade themselves. In my two bedroom suite, the lighting was very poor. Most of the tub lights were not working, table lamps weren’t working as their switches were either broken or malfunctioning. There weren’t adequate power outlets in the rooms to charge mobile devices at night. They should upgrade their central AC and heat system as I don’t think a small window AC would be sufficient in summer to cool the unit.
