This is a large stand-alone home! It's a 5 bedroom, 7 beds, and 5 bathroom beauty with multiple sprawling porches and a balcony with views of Forsyth Park. Also, 3 out of 5 of our bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The house is recently fully renovated and features an open living area with a kitchen that is fully stocked. This beautiful place, that is right on the shuttle route, will be your perfect home away from home in historic downtown Savannah.

The house is large and right off of Forsyth Park. The living space has a sectional couch, with an open floor plan. The kitchen is fully stocked.

All bookings are subjected to a 13% Savannah motel and sales tax which will be included in the price per night.


Property includes:

1) We provide a single parking spot in the back of the home. There is free street parking in front of the house.

We aren't on the property, but we are always available if needed.

Forsyth Park is right around the corner. There are amazing restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores very close by.

The house is right on the route of the free shuttle.
We have a few very basic house rules:

1) We do not allow parties on our property. Please do not confuse this with a bachelorette or bachelor party. We welcome any group that will respect the property. If a guest breaks this rule we will evict them immediately without a refund.
2) Please do not move around the furniture.
3) We are not perfect but really try to maintain our properties to provide an excellent experience for our guests. If you notice anything we would appreciate letting us know. We want to ensure you leave us a great review!

Family vacay

Enjoyable family getaway at this lovely home! This was our annual family getaway for us to connect with our adult children and their significant others. The home is close to the free shuttle, a trolley stop if you choose that option, and beautiful Forsyth Park.

Great location

Perfect spot right across from Forsyth Park. Can walk from here to most of the other small parks and restaurants.March perfect weather and azaleas in bloom everywhere. Lots of bathrooms and beds for a family of 7. Clean. Lots of stairs though with master and kitchen upstairs. Front porch nice for coffee or cocktails. Rear porch and furniture needs update. Overall, good place for few days in Savannah.

Savannah stay at Forsyth Park

As an owner of vacation rentals and a business traveler, I feel I can give an honest and fair review of the property.First and foremost guest must realizes this is a historic type home which has been renovated but has a lot of the features of an older historic property like uneven floors, old wood windows and so forth. But overall it's a cool old home with character.Arrived Friday February 7 at 5pm to the home and it was 80 degrees outside and when we walked in the house the a/c was not turned on and it was unbearable. I would have thought the property manager would have turned on the a/c knowing they had guest arriving at 5pm for the weekend. Positives:a. Location steps to Forsyth Park and restaurantsb. Nice family roomc. Decent appointed kitchen with pretty much anything you need to cook a meald. 3 bedrooms are onsuitee. Property manager took care of a challenge with TV remote in promptlyAreas for improvement: a. master bedroom on second level has a bed that has a completely worn out mattress that offers no supportb. Bed linens need to be upgraded as the rooms have a hodgepodge of comforters and bedspreads that are low quality and oldc. bath towels are paper thin and short in supplyd. It list 5 bedrooms but really two of the rooms have day beds not true bedse. Need to have a portable a/c unit in master bedroom like the other bedrooms as central a/c unit does very little to cool the house down

Deceptive listing - property looked nothing like online pictures and description was inaccurate.

Property was filthy when we arrived: fake eye lash on floor of shower, hair stuck to bed sheets, dirt laundry in washing machine, dining table and kitchen counter dirty, stove top dirty, refrigerator smelled like old seafood (ruining our fresh produce), old coffee grounds in coffee maker, food residue in microwave and toaster oven, area rug littered with crumbs. House has NOT been "recently renovated", in fact it is in rather poor repair with peeling paint and rotting siding. Furniture is not as nice as what is shown in the pictures online. Only two beds can be accessed from both sides - so only 7 people can sleep without crawling over each other. No games present in the rental and only one book - "Georgia Appeals Reports - Volume 152, 1979-80". Wi-Fi was weak and spotty making it very difficult to watch anything on the Roku TV provided. Outside: 1 of 3 rockers on front porch was broken. Furniture on upstairs balcony had dirty cushions and the umbrella was upside down and laying askew against the house. Furniture on back porch was mildewed. Furniture in back yard was dirty and the paint was flaking off. Someone accessed the property while we were gone the first day of our stay and moved our personal items to make the beds and left new towels. Property host responded within 36 hours to cleanliness issue. Dreaded returning to this property each night. On the positive side: property location was good.

Savannah Girls Trip

This was a group of 75 year old women So needless to say, we are a bit shocked at the amount of stairs when we walked in the front door. After looking back at the pictures, it clearly showed those stairs but I guess we didn’t realize how the layout really worked. Overall, the house was pretty clean except for the bathroom tiles in the master bath and the lower level bath all needed to be cleaned. The property manager was very quick to respond to anything we ask for, but the TV in the downstairs bedroom never worked, and we struggled with the TV in the family room.

Amazing property at an amazing location

David is a great host and constantly communicated with us and checked if we need anything. The house is very charming and character, being an historic home and at this condition was surprising. Location is the most amazing part, it is right next to Forsyth Park, parking is free in front of house and everything is a 15-20 mins walk. Even river street is. For large family gatherings, will 100% recommend.

Great location - beautiful house!

We planned a family vacation with my daughter and family and nephew and family. We met my brother there. He and his wife stayed in a hotel on River Street. We could take the kids to Forsyth Park every morning to play. Right at a Hop On/Hop Off Trolley Stop. $4 Uber ride to the Riverfront. We could put the kids down and have drinks on the top porch. It was really nice!

Beautiful Home few concerns

The home was beautiful. There were just a few housekeeping concerns that I’m sure were just a simple oversight (used contact lenses on a nightstand). Having a broom in the home would have been nice for us to sweep and keep more tidy. Due to the home size, we expected a few more pots and pans or larger pans would have been nice. There were only 2 very small pans. We had to buy one to get us by. The home is conveniently located near a DOT trolly stop. If you plan to spend time on riverfront, this is a huge plus! I would stay again if I had a large group to book for. Thank you!

Very clean, well taken care of, and nice place to stay compared to most. Location was convenient. There were a couple of small items found broken at check-in, but the owner was accessible and responsive. My family was in town for a funeral and appreciated the ability to book a very clean, comfortable place to stay on short notice and be together.

Review of Savannah home

Location was excellent! Host is a terrific and timely communicator & addressed any issues that arose immediately. However twice it says the "kitchen is fully stocked" and it was not Our most honest and well intentioned feedback to give for suggestions to improve the veracity of the listing ... they should include better bedding for the room as there was not a proper make up of the bed with an appropriate duvet or blanket and bedspread. Perhaps we could recommend they add some no breakable tumbler wine glasses. In addition - The photos on the website do not convey the small room sizes of at least 3 of the bedrooms. The beds in the two lower rear rooms were undersized and uncomfortable, one broke immediately and required repair (they did come quickly to do so). That one actually appeared to be for a large pet versus a person. The kitchen provisions were minimal, almost no food storage or wrap at all, glassware lacked even a basic selection. Really a strange set of items for a home being rented to larger groups. Undersized coffee cups (some chipped) definitely need to be replaced with decent size mugs. Dining set "looked" lovely, but chair cushions were oddly flimsy - almost like furniture used for staging for a sale. One live cockroach in with the oil and spices - we simply elected not to open that cabinet again. VERY steep stairs, both outside and in - the inside flight almost two stories high, was quite a climb to get up to the main living space. While location was excellent, the upstairs back porch area a nice plus and outside street parking available, based on the other drawbacks, esp at this rate, would try somewhere else next time around.

Our stay in Savannah at the waldburg house was great! Plenty of room for 10 girls. Location was good, it is about a mile and a half walk to River street which was no problem for our group. My only advise would be to make sure to take extra paper products for the kitchen. Would definitely rent again for another trip!!

Good stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. The property was clean and well kept. I love the fact that the property manager was easily accessible via email. The was beautiful both inside and out. Our only negative was that the property was advertised as "sleeps 12," but two of the rooms had very small beds, which made sleeping arrangements difficult for my family of 10. The number of people that the home sleeps should probably be decreased on the website to about 8. Also, it would have been nice if the home had more than 2 televisions (1 in the main living room and the other in the master bedroom, both on the second floor).
