Our room with two queen beds was comfortable enough but the room itself and also the bathroom could have been cleaner (fingers prints/smudges on multiple surfaces, dirty sink, etc). The air/co worked well but it was rather noisy. There was little to no sound insulation from the noise on the street. The staff we interacted with were helpful, but not exactly what we’d called friendly - the woman who checked us in seemed completely disinterested and didn’t once make eye contact with us. The location was close to Savannah’s historic district and all the sites we wanted to see.
The staff! The staff! So friendly and helpful!
Parking is awful in Historic SAV, so having a safe, convenient place to keep the car and then walk everywhere was wonderful.
But it’s the staff that makes a nice hotel great. Front desk, concierge, parking attendants, housekeeping…they are all excellent and really make the stay memorable. I will be back!
The hotel was dirty. I had to ask them to mop and sweep the floor, and they only mopped and swept the floor 1 day the whole week of our stay; they kept the same sheets on the bed all week, and I had to remove them off the bed in order for them to change the sheet. The food was terrible; we sat at the bar restaurant they could not turn the sound up on the TV. And the Elevators we not working properly. I have been to Savannah more than 10 times and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at. I asked for a refund for half of the week they said no because I did not book directly with them. I will never stay there again and will be giving them a bad review directly on there site.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Cambria in Savannah and I think it is a nice clean hotel. No breakfast offered which for me is not a big deal as most hotel breakfasts these days are not great. Pro tip - there is a parking garage across the corner that has overnight parking, I would park there rather then use Valet as it is cheaper and probably faster.
Nice hotel overall. On our second night there we received a call from the front desk about a noise complaint (this was around 1:00 am). We had been in the bed for almost 2 hours, no TV on either. Sleep was ruined after this .
Great! Only issues was I asked for wash clothes after the first room cleaning and never got any. Then when we were checking out the elevator went down and had to carry our luggage down 5 flights of stairs. But it was great besides those minor issues!!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
All good, but I'm pregnant and I had to go down the stairs from the sixth floor because the elevator wasn't working. It didn't go very well and the hotel didn't do anything about it.
Property was just running to run without proper management. No one to greet you, like a robot asking for information to get you checked it. Might as well place robot there and save money on salary for people to do nothing. Called multiple times to front desk because there was no remote in our room and no one answered. We had to just stare at each other since we couldn’t watch tv. After many tries Vamsi was the only one who was helpful and brought us the remote the the night before our checkout. Everyone else at the property is useless. There were stains on the bed and couch, the toilet tissue was CHEAP, might as well bring your own, the shower wasn’t clean, the elevated stopped working and we had to WALK UP TO 6th LEVEL BY STAIRS, one guy in the valet parking area as the WORST ATTITUDE. They were acting like we were staying there for free.
