Our stay here was good. The management staff was responsive to an issue that popped up and a repair tech showed up within an hour. The place was clean and had an updated kitchen with all the convenience you would want. Laundry was also a good addition. If I was to say anything about this place is that as a historic house it is old. Bathroom door handles would fall off, making it difficult to open or close. In fact, this was surprising because a handyman could have spent 60 mins replacing all the ancient door handles. Though they look quaint, they were not functional and that was very frustrating. There was peeling paint in the bathroom and at different places in the house, which gave me lead paint worries just looking at it. The 2nd bedroom was very hot for a summer stay even though they had a/c through the home. Again, this is a turn-of-the-century home so, it's old. They did a nice job repainting, though you could see the old paint chips below. However, all in all, it was a comfortable stay. One other thing I just did not understand is they requested that we don't take the sheets off the bed upon our departure. I found that weird as if they were going to be laundered before the next guest I assume during COVID-19 you would want the sheets cleaned. However, there was a strict rule to NOT take the sheets off the bed before we leave. I don't understand, but we happily complied. Would I stay here again, I believe so, again, it was very convenient, quiet, and on a beautiful street in historic Savannah GA. If I had to rate my stay, 1 - 10, I would give this a very generous 7. The hot 2nd bedroom and door handle constantly falling off I think is worth a small deduction. I would recommend this place to anyone.
