Simple, no frills motel that was very reasonably priced, very clean and air conditioning worked excellent. Just what we needed for a quick trip.

Worst mistake ever.

Talk about a huge mistake in judgment. The rooms are old. The linen does not appear clean. For a huge room, there is no table to seat around and eat or drink, no coffee machine. The pool was closed. The area looks shady, unless it is just that area in general. Never again.

Very nice manager/owner. Went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Only thing I would call out is if you have long hair or sensitive skin, bring your own because the ones provided are very small.

Very Good Stay!

We had a very nice stay at this motel for 3 nights to visit family and to see Shiloh Military Park. It's an older motel, but the owners have renovated the rooms. The motel was conveniently located to area attractions. It is reasonably priced, very clean and well kept. There was a large screen tv, mini fridge and microwave in the room. There is no coffee maker in the room, but we knew that before we arrived. The bathroom area is small, but everything has been updated. The owners are very nice. Anything you need you can get from them in the office. I would stay here again. Please consider this property when looking for a place to stay.

River Heights Motel is an older Motel that had been remodeled. The room was small but it was clean and everything was in good working condition. The bathroom area was small but the Owners kept the original room layout when remodeling and there was an original table, chairs, and hanging rack in the room which gave a Retro type feel. Unfortunately, the pool was not in working order but we knew that before our stay. There was a tv, mini fridge and microwave in the room. We enjoyed our stay and we were happy to see that the Owners were renovating instead of tearing down the property that had been in the small town for decades. If you are looking for a less expensive place to stay in the area, you might consider this property. It is conveniently located, it is reasonably priced, it is clean and well kept, and it offers a comfortable place to sleep, take a shower, and relax which is basically what you need in a Motel room.

Very clean hotel

We enjoyed our one night stay. When we first walked in all I could smell was clean! This was the cleanest hotel we have ever been at. The front desk man was very nice. We asked him for extra pillows and he brought us some. The bed was firmer than I like but my husband enjoyed it. We slept well. Very quiet surroundings. I would suggest a coffee maker and more towels and rags in the bathroom. ☺️
