Cannot beat the location if you’re planning on exploring historic downtown or river street. The “mezzanine level” rooms can have a weird layout (the window over looks inside-downstairs and people eat breakfast/have meetings down there) but other than that, very decent hotel in a prime area!

place was great. location, paid for parking but lot is attached, big plus for Savanna, free breakfast, beer/wine, appetizer 5:30to 7, room was clean and nicely set up. All that was excellent but the staff was the best. Very friendly and took pride in everything. I wonder if its family run it was that good. Will definitely be back. Tip: drove to Tybee Island and had lunch at the Crab Shack. Was totally worth the trip.

Door slamming / checkout nightmare
Clean and generally friendly accommodations, albeit spoiled by the incessant door slamming and noise in the hallways at night. When I asked to be moved to another room I was told it would be a $50 additional fee. When I checked out the hotel charged a higher rate than what I had contracted with on hotels.com, requiring half an hour of my time to prove that my paid rate was less than the checkout rate. Overall a hassle and I would not recommend.

Great Location and Friendly Staff
Prior to choosing the Staybridge, I did a fair amount of research to find a clean, highly rated hotel at a reasonable rate. I am happy that I chose to stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though our flight got in very late, the woman at the front desk could not have been nicer. The hotel is centrally located near Riverwalk, and we were able to walk almost everywhere. The hotel also has a breakfast with hot food and a social hour in the evening. We would definitely stay at the Staybridge again.

The staff was quite helpful, upbeat and friendly. The room was adequate but the lightning near the kitchen could've been brighter. Easy access to everything in the downtown area. Location was amazing.

Do not stay at this hotel! They quoted me one price and charged me $100 more than the agreed-upon price. After spending hours on the phone with them and speaking with multiple people they would not send my receipt to me. They refused to give me my receipt upon checkout as well. By the way, we left our reservation early because there was a hurricane in the area and they refused to refund that night's stay. Overall, I would say this hotel is not to be trusted.
