Good stay
This house fit our needs quite well. Good location, quiet neighborhood, perfect size for the 4 of us! Unfortunately, it could use some TLC. There were the keypad battery was dead, there were scuff marks on walls, the shower door didn’t shut, some peeling paint - just little things that could be improved. Same goes for the cleanliness - windows were dirty, couch need vacuuming under cushions, and the box fan was dirty. Again, little things, but for the price it could be improved upon. Overall thou it was a good stay.

Convenient but a bit run down
Property is in a good convenient location on the south side of Seaside. The check in process and communication was good. On day 2, we were locked out of the house as the battery for the electronic lock had died. The response was fairly quick and the issue was addressed. The property is a bit older and may require some TLC. The floors were very dirty and need a good mop. Some of the beds were broken and made for awkward sleep. Overall, enjoyed our stay but the house will require some work before it deteriorates further.

Nice VRBO, but for a few things....
This was a great place to getaway for a few days and we loved it. Here are the cons: -Despite detailed instructions, it was difficult getting the code on the door to work, and this happened just about every time we tried to get in, even when we tried to reboot the lock. -The VRBO provided about a thousand coffee filters, a nice coffee pot and even some sugar, but no coffee? I called the number provided when we found this out. Never heard back. -1 tv, 5 remotes and no instructions? We are not techy-folk and this was a real downer, because every time we sat down to watch tv, no one could ever quite figure out how to even just get a few simple channels. That definitely put a damper on the week for those times when we just wanted to do some tubing. -Inadequate set of measuring spoons and cups. A dash, a smidgeon and a pinch are very cute, but not very helpful when I came there to do some serious cooking. In all fairness, there was also a 1/4 tsp and the day we left, we found a 1/2 tsp somewhere in a drawer far, far away. This is simple stuff. -The king-size bed was very comfortable; our crew found the queen bed and the bottom bunk bed to be way too soft. Also the queen bedroom could use a second lamp. Those are the cons, and each one is a pretty simple fix. Other than than, we loved our VRBO. It is real close to the beach, comfortable and an easy walk, bike ride or drive to just about anywhere in Seaside, which is a super little town! Thank you! -

Seaside 2022
The duplex was as advertised and in a good location. However, there were a few issues: cleaning - there was sand on the sofa, floor, and a lot of sand on the window seat. Also, the master bathroom bathmat was smelly and needed a good cleaning with bleach. The master bathroom fan was also very dirty. The DVD in the living room didn't work properly and kept skipping the movies we tried to watch. 1/2 of the hot tub jets did not work, and the screen door to the back yard was old, rusty and off the tracks. There were no cookie sheets in the kitchen. If all of these items were to get fixed we would stay again.

Great property for a family, so close to the beach.
We had a fantastic stay at Edgewood Getaway. It was super clean and comfortable and 4 blocks from the beach. The hot tub was awesome! Close enough to walk into town for arcade and aquarium etc without being in the thick of it. The only thing I would add is a better stocked kitchen and maybe a cleaning supply or two. It's plenty if you plan to eat out mostly. But, if you plan to do much cooking it's bit meager. Overall, excellent stay!

Great location
Proximity to the cove is awesome for surfing and hot tub made warming up a breeze. Great house only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that the queen bed made a ton of noise with any movement and could be heard in master bedroom when someone moved. Other than that there's everything you need and things were well taken care of plus lots of directions posted. It was nice to have a garage as well. We will stay here again.

Great location
My friends and I stayed here for a few days to work from home together. The Internet was good enough for all three of us to work and even have meetings at the same time. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, there are plenty of towels, and the hot tub works great. Plus, the house is only a few minutes' walk from the beach. However, the shower in the shared bathroom is very difficult to work with. Twice, I spent 10 minutes trying to get the water to an acceptable temperature and then only 2-3 minutes actually showering before it got way too cold or way too hot again. We ended up sharing the master bathroom for showers. The television did not work, and the second lockbox was stuck (so we three shared one key).

Great Location
This house is a very good location. It’s close to the main part of Seaside and close to many restaurants. The house was very cozy and felt like being at your own home. It’s a duplex but we never heard the neighbors. We had one small issue with the freezer not working but the property managers were on it and great communication. I would stay here again.

Last Minute Thanksgiving Family Getaway
The house has a great floor plan, roomy & cozy. Perhaps I missed it in the listing, we were pleasantly surprised with the gas fireplace in the living room. Kitchen was great for full Tday meal. Only tool I needed (and brought) was a roasting pan. This place has every tool to cook up a storm! Having our dog with us was great! Nice touches for the pup too. Great movie collection. The house is I tginkn3 minutes from the beach promenade! So much great walking here. Loved the hot tub. The decor is perfect for a family, not too fancy so as to allow you to relax. Everything seems carefully selected. The beds were very comfortable too. I could say more but need to run! Thanks.

Cute, but there were issues
The house is cute and cozy. The location is great. The kitchen is huge and the place had a nice layout. However, it wasn’t super clean. The dust bunnies were so large they could have been actual rabbits. Lots of dust everywhere. There are two microwaves, one didn’t work and the tray in the other was too large. The oven took over 50 minutes to preheat to 350. We had to start up the dryer 3 times before the clothes were actually dry. Also, the hot/cold water is set up backwards in the kitchen and almost scalded a child who didn’t realize. Water pressure was great, but the shower was either scalding hot or freezing. Overall a fun stay, but definitely needs to be cleaned better and to have better kitchen appliances. There should also be a warning on the kitchen sink.

I tried reaching out to the property manager more than once with questions, but never received any response. Great stay, plenty of room for 6 people
We had a very enjoyable stay. The kitchen area is surprisingly large for the size house, which made it easy with lots of people doing different things, and the gas fireplace is a nice winter treat. Not too far from the beach, and a reasonable walk into the downtown area. Great place aside from two issues that will hopefully be addressed. 1) the showers were very hard to get to the right temperature. Scalding or tepid in one, and cold or warmish in another. 2) the Queen size bed was TERRIBLY noisy (I think it was the box spring?). If you move around at night, your partner will have to be comatose to not wake up.

Cozy and Comfortable
Spacious and stocked with most kitchen needs. Needed instruction on opening the garage door. Ice-maker not working. Bunk frame noisy when upper bunk occupied (somewhat unstable). All linens and bedding well stocked and furnishings very adequate. The adjoining duplex had fully fenced yard and hot tub; ours was basic partially enclosed back and side yard. Our pet loved it, though. Access to back yard was through main bedroom. Closets had only a few (total of 7, I think) hangars. Didn't actually check all contents of kitchen, but there are oodles of cupboards and storage closets. Everything was clean and very presentable, with wall hangings, and accessories on fireplace and throughout the home. DVD, VCR and Game supply was great, too. The response by the local service manager was most appreciated. Six of us travelled from north of Seatte, and felt the whole experience was very worthwhile despite the nasty weather en route. Seaside Jazz Festival was super, too. The Hunts of Mt. Vernon, WA
