The only problem I had was the fact, that I did not have telefon service so I could not call the hotel about the shuttle.

I arrived around 11 pm to find a sign at the desk notifying guests that there would be “routine maintenance “ the next day so either “no running water” or “low water pressure” all day starting at 6 a.m. It was late, the room was prepaid, and the shuttle had left, so I stayed but, as instructed by the very nice front desk staff, I left a voicemail for the manager expressing my view that running water is one of about 3 essential amenities for a hotel, and requesting a refund. The threat of no water meant I had to get up at 5:30 to have a quick shower; my plan had been to shower at 7. Three days later, I still have heard nothing back from the manager. The hotel should have contacted everyone with a reservation for the night or next day, in advance, and allowed us to cancel with a full refund. I will not stay again, and I will keep pursuing a refund.

Customer service was excellent. Since we arrived early from our cruise they were very accommodating with storing our luggages while we explored downtown Seattle. It’s also very convenient that they have shuttle to take you to the mall nearby and 24-hr bus shuttle service to the airport. The only downside is that the outside waiting area was dirty and not well maintained. There’s a lot of cigarette butts on the floor and smells bad.

Forget a decent free breakfast
Free breakfast the worst. Bananas so rotten we still joke about them. No potatoes only eggs. God knows what type of sausage they used. I had to find the coffee cups because no one was there to put out more cups. In the morning is so sun glaring staff did not lower screens so we could avoid the sun blaring in our eyes. Some people had no where to sit except with the sun in their face. One day no cereal. Next day had cereal but all 3 were sugar type cereals.

Never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, others in our group had booked there and I can say that I was very pleasantly surprised when I entered the spacious and well-appointed lobby. Was greated by a very friendly staff person who checked me in very quickly. I was blown away by the size of my room, how well decorated it was and how very clean it appeared. I love the fact that it had a coffee maker, which I used, along with a microwave and fridge. I found the hair and body products to be conveniently located in pump bottles in the shower, along with those by the sink. Plenty of towels were available for use. All in all, a great hotel to stay in, would not hesitate to book again. Very well satisfied.
