The Space:
Welcome to our charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch-style house located in the beautiful town of Sebastopol, CA! Our cozy home is situated on a large lot near Ragle Ranch Park, offering a picturesque view and easy access to nature.

As you enter the home, you'll immediately feel the warmth and comfort of the space. The living room is tastefully decorated and boasts a comfortable seating area and a 55" large flat-screen TV for your entertainment. The dining area is located adjacent to the living room and features a dining table that can comfortably seat 8.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you'll need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, a full set of pots and pans, baking dishes, measuring cups and spoons, and a variety of spices and other essentials. Just off the kitchen, there is a deck that can comfortably seat 2 for enjoying coffee/tea and breakfast in the morning sun.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with a Casper memory foam mattress, a large armoire, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. We have recently added a futon and a work desk to provide additional functionality for our guests.

Outside, you'll find a fully fenced backyard with a patio area, complete with a hot tub, gas fire pit, and patio seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lovely California weather, as well as providing a nice area for your dog to play. In a separate area next to the food forest, there is a large outdoor space that features a pellet BBQ and smoker, a couple of large redwood slabs for preparing and serving meals, a spacious outdoor table, umbrellas, and two large patio heaters.

The front garden is an oasis of a food forest, including several citrus trees, a plum tree, persimmon, almond, and nectarine trees, as well as raspberries, blackberries, huckleberries, and a seasonal vegetable garden. Guests are encouraged to walk the garden and help themselves to whatever is in season. There is also a full herb garden right off the front patio that offers a variety of fresh herbs for all your cooking needs.

Our home's prime location, directly across from Ragle Ranch Park, allows you to enjoy hiking, picnicking, and other outdoor activities just steps away. After exploring the park, you can easily venture out to discover the vibrant downtown Sebastopol, which is only a mile away. Whether you choose to walk, bike, or take a short drive, you'll find an array of local shops, restaurants, and attractions waiting for you to experience.

Guest Access:
There is a separate house located at the back of the property, occupied by the owner. Though the driveway is shared, guests can rest assured that their space is entirely private. The extensive front garden area, BBQ patio, horseshoe pits, and backyard are all exclusively for guest use, providing a serene and enjoyable experience during their stay.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the serene northwest area of Sebastopol, our home is ideally situated near Ragle Ranch Park. The park is a popular attraction, boasting a myriad of trails meandering alongside Atascadero Creek, perfect for leisurely strolls or invigorating hikes. The park also features a dedicated dog park, soccer fields, and hosts the annual Gravenstein Apple Fair, which celebrates local agriculture and community spirit.

Just a few blocks away, you'll find the Pacific Market shopping center, offering a variety of convenient amenities including Mombo's Pizza, the Sebastopol Hardware store (which goes beyond your typical hardware store), and an array of other shops. A short walk will bring you to the charming Libby Park, as well as several restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area.

The neighborhood itself is exceptionally pleasant and quiet, characterized by its family-friendly atmosphere and the stunning views it offers. This idyllic location provides the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in beautiful Sebastopol.

Getting Around:
In our charming Sebastopol neighborhood, getting around is a breeze. The area is highly walkable, with well-maintained sidewalks making it easy to explore on foot. For cycling enthusiasts, there are dedicated bike lanes that connect to both the West County Regional Trail and the Joe Rodota Trail, providing ample opportunities for scenic rides.

Parking in the neighborhood can get busy during weekends due to increased park visitors, but guests can rest assured that our property offers ample off-street parking. There are two dedicated spots for guests, and an additional two overflow spots available for friends or family who may want to visit during your stay. With a combination of walkability, biking infrastructure, and convenient parking options, exploring Sebastopol and its surroundings is a hassle-free experience.

Other Things to Note:
We are delighted to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs at our dog-friendly home. Please note that no other animals are allowed without specific host approval. Dogs should not be left alone at any time unless they are crate trained and can remain inside the crate without causing noise disturbances. We do charge a small pet fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning; however, this fee is not meant to cover any damage caused by guests' dogs. In the event of any damage, a separate charge will be applied to cover the cost of repairing or replacing the affected items.

A great property for relaxing after your day at the wineries or the coast. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, fire pit, hot tub and the chickens. The owners are extremely responsive. We hope to stay here again during our next visit to Sonoma County.

We recently stayed at the Ragle House for my sister’s baby shower, and it was absolutely wonderful! This property offered a cozy and welcoming space that made it feel like a home away from home. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for hosting our gathering, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare food for the celebration. We even ended up adding a few days on to our stay and Jordan and Jennifer were incredibly accommodating. It was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend the Ragle House for anyone looking for a memorable stay or a special place to host an intimate gathering!

Ragle House is probably the best experience I have had with a vacation rental, and there have been many. The hosts were extremely responsive and the property was exactly as described. The location is central for making excursions to other towns and Sebastopol is a wonderful town. They get bonus points for providing fresh eggs and for the berries available for picking right outside our door. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Such a cute home in Sebastopol! Sunny decks at the back and front for morning coffee and afternoon sun, kitchen had everything you'd need, comfortable beds, across the street from running trails, and very close to downtown Sebastopol and the Barlow. We had a fantastic time. And the property manager even dropped off fresh eggs and oranges from the property!

Our first experience with renting a home was exceptional. Jordan and Jennifer are wonderful hosts. They thought of everything we could possibly need, and stocked their home accordingly. It was immaculate and they have obviously spent great deal of time and effort to make it comfortable. The location is near a park for hiking and dogs. It’s quiet and peaceful. I love the outdoor areas. There’s a backyard with a hot tub. The front garden has fruits, vegetables and herbs to use. We were welcome to collect eggs from the chickens in the corner of the property. I would love to come back to spend more time around their home. Thank you so much for a memorable, lovely experience.
