Guadalupe River rental
We rented this house to be close to Seguin for a big track meet. It was a great refuge in between events to get out of the heat (only 10 min from the high school). The house was stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to float around the river as well. Our teenage boys enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. Thank you Sarah for a great trip.

Wonderful staycation
We enjoyed staying here, it was peaceful and serene, I would definitely come back. In case you forgot anything, HEB is nearby. Life jackets are available if you want to get into water. Bring coal for BBQ, Bluetooth speakers are available in the patio, so you don’t have bring your own. The only thing that we missed was an additional half bathroom, as we were 3 families.

Horrible Mold Problem.
I have a mold allergy. When we arrived the entire house had been heavily sprayed with Febreze. We realized it had a mold problem as the Febreze wore off at 10 PM. We immediately asked for a refund on the rest of our stay, which we received. I have no idea how this very old property has the high rating it does. Many of the lights don't work. The only bedroom closet is locked and there is no dresser in that room. The other two bedrooms have some metal shelving with a rod for hanging clothes. The master doesn't have a bathroom. You have to go down a hall, go through the front entry and through the bunk room to get to the bathroom. Towels are old, thin and mismatched. This property is very sub par compared to every other VRBO we have rented.

Beautiful view
Property is very nice, layout is a little quirky but we made it work. Rooms for improvement, 1. Kitchen knives, 2. metal bunk beds are always terrible (have you ever slept on one) 3. Coffee maker super slow 4. Consider water filtration or bottled water cooler (these are always great at any rental) 5. Birds roosting over front entrance created a constant mess. 6. Fireplace did not seem to draw smoke you and out so we give up. What we loved; 1. Master bed was comfy 2. Decor suites location, 3. View and fire pit 4. Location

Annual River Trip
Every year a group of us go to the Guadalupe. This year was AWESOME! We had 10 adults and we fit really well in this house. Although the kitchen and living room aren't *HUGE*, they are quite ample in size and the extra large deck off the kitchen definitely made it all seem bigger. The non-room front entry way worked out great for two of our adult guys who slept on the day bed and trundle. The only slight issue was not understanding that the bunk room is actually off of the master (in the hallway between the master and the master bath, but only accessible through the master or through the garage). It wasn't quite as private as we had hoped in the master bedroom. The AC worked great, which is a huge issue for us in river houses, except it was slightly warm in the bunk room and master bedroom. The lake is really deep right off the dock and we floated in the river every day. We loved the area, especially how close it is to Wal-Mart, but still feels like you're in the middle of nowhere.. Overall, wonderful house! Would definitely rent again!

A week at the Pecan Grove
This was a wonderful home and the 7 of us - 4 children and 3 adults really had a good time. The kayaks and all the river toys were very special. We could not have enjoyed it more. This was our 2nd VRB experience and we have been very happy with both.

Fantastic View and Comfortable Home
The pictures on the website do not do this home justice. River view is outstanding and the covered and multi-level decks out back are spacious. House is very well maintained and beds very comfortable. We we so happy and relaxed at this home we forgot to go out and visit other nearby attractions. Sean, the owner, is very responsive and worked very well with us. I would recommend this home to all!

Beautiful property! A definite delight!!
This cabin is beautifully decorated and yet felt like home. We loved the lakeside of the home the most. It sits rather high up from the water. It has a large deck leading down onto a rock laid patio where there are benches on both sides of a huge beautiful tree. There are stairs that lead further down to 2 more smaller decks, one having a steel firepit (which we enjoyed making s'mores at). The stairs lead further down to a deck sitting at the waters edge. We spent most of our time sitting outside on the deck listening to the lovely windchimes. Because of the steepness of the stairs it was difficult for myself, with cane, to traverse, and ot was a little scary for my 3 year old. But older children would be fine. Inside the colors and decor are definitely lovely. The beds were comfortable with one of the king size beds being adjustable which was great for my bad back. There was a fireplace but with the weather still being nice we were unable to use it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone!
