They advertise as Seminyak, but it is at least 20 mins from central Seminyak in no traffic. There are not many restaurants or cafe within walking distance, and most gojeks cancel the ride when they realise the location. It is pretty much on the boarder as you approach Canguu. During the rain our ceiling was leaking, all that was done to fix it was a change in the sheets. The hotel is situated right next to a beach club which whilst convenient to visit and return to the hotel, makes it very noisy at night. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was tidy, but it could've been cleaner.

Cool oasis in the tropical heat
Spacious room with excellent air conditioning. Lovely balcony/patio overlooking beautiful ponds. Friendly staff in every part of hotel. Loved the pool bar and the peaceful location.

The Grand Balisani is a traditional Balinese style hotel built around beautiful gardens and ponds. Some might say this property is a bit tired (and, to be fair, the area around the pool, pool loungers, etc could do with a bit of refurbishment) but we enjoyed our stay. It is well located on the beach and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were lovely however I was bitten badly by bed bugs on the first night. I asked for a room change which was given quickly. The new room was nearer to the beach however there was a digger working on the beach which started work at 2 am. No sleep or relaxation,spoke to staff who said it was a government contract and they choose their own hours. Very disappointed,stayed there August 2024.

Great holiday location right on the beach . A little bit of serenity amongst the hustle and bustle of Seminyak . In my opinion - the Balisani proves that “Bigger is not necessarily Best”, though that’s a very subjective opinion .

Balisani was really nice, old school and spacious however we had a room near the Maris Beach Club which plays loud music until 9pm. Unfortunately this tanished our stay a little bit as we were looking forward to peace and quiet. Il Lido Italian food nearby has excellent food.
