Just about 5-10 min walk to metro. Clean and laundry available on site. Safe and not noisy. Room was small but we didnt spend much time hanging in room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is okay being next to subway. Even though rural area, the hotel is clean, no smell of smoking, and especially manager was super nice. We came from usa and he helped us out and all. Subway is walkable, so u can go everywhere if u know how to use subway.
This hotel was not comfortable at all , there was no separate shower in the bathroom and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very hard mattress , even for Korea. Plus the towels were worn out and the sheets had old stains. On the plus side the location was nice and quite, close to small shops and about 800 meters from train station ( sinimun station, exit 1, about 8 min walk).
Easy to locate and travel via the train. With convenience stores nearby that opens till late. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Overall hotel is satisfactory.

Great overall. Wishing the mattress more comfortable
Pros: Price and easy subway access (8-10 min walk from Sinimun Station-line 1). Clean. Towels changed daily. Easy check-in (let me check in an hour early). They seem to allow you to leave your luggage behind if needed (saw plenty in the lobby area). Small cafe on the first floor, but also has lots of nearby convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes nearby.
Cons: The room is very small, so not ideal for those with a lot of luggage (was not a problem for us). It was a bit hot in the winter, so you may have to ask to have the floor heating turned down in the room.
*It is kind of out of the way from most tourist sites BUT this should not be a deternt because the subway is so close by and easy to maneuver to all the sites!
Additional Info: The beds are somewhat firm which is standard for Korea, but some may not be used to it.

Reasonable no thrills hotel
Upon arriving at the hotel it looked closed for refurbishment but it was actually open and it was obvious that the hotel had undergone some re-fitting. A couple of days and the lobby and Café took shape properly. The room provided was adequate (though small) as a base to explore Seoul but not for spending too much time in. With Metro Line 1 Sinimun station close by it took about an hour to get to most places of interest in Seoul. Local restaurants were worth exploring but language can be an issue, English is probably behind Japanese and Chinese but many have picture menus. Wi-Fi connectivity was an issue in our room with sporadic connection and loss of Internet routing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful although English communication was quite difficult (Mandarin helped much better). All in all, for the price, a reasonable hotel to base a short stay on for independent travellers not wanting to use major hotel chains and who like exploring by foot and public transport.
Quick check-in. The room has everything you need and more. There's your telly, fridge, AC and speedy internet. In the bathroom we had packs of toiletries in case you've forgotten your toothbrush or toothpaste, shampoo. The towels and rubbish were collected every day which was fine with us. Downstairs there is a café where you can have a snack and a drink. There is an option for breakfast but they need 10 people otherwise they can't do it. There's a small supermarket just outside the hotel. You can get anything you want there. There are many small eateries around. The station (Sinimun on line 1) is 10 mins away. It's really easy to find the hotel. At the station look for Exit 1 and go straight down the road. At the end of the road turn right, the hotel is on the right. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes away from central Seoul,30 mins to Seoul station but closer to Bukhansan mountain. If you have a query the reception is happy to check things out for you, like train times, etc. We're really happy with our stay.
I felt strongly about leaving a review in English as there aren't many. It's really important that other potential guests know about this hotel and make up their mind. Most of the guests are Korean ,Japanese and Chinese and so are the reviews too. I disagree with other reviewers that it was difficult to find. It's on the main road, you can't miss it.
Two supermarkets close to the hotel, and can find many typical Korean restaurants near by the hotel.
A bus number 216 is in front of the hotel that can send you to many hot places such as Myeong-dong, Dongdaemun, and Seoul Station etc. You can also walk to the Metro in 10 minutes then take around 10 minutes to reach such as Dongdaemun. It’s great location with the attractive price.
I have only two complaints about my stay; there was hair on the floor so it had not been swept well and the room smelled of cigarettes. The cleanliness of the room was otherwise not an issue and the smell was only an issue in my room because a friend of mine was staying down the hall and she had no such issue. I only stayed one night here and although the location was a bit out of the way, it was close to line one and for how inexpensive it was I really don't have any major complaints. Nice place to stay and it's not too far from Hoegi, Dongdaemun, or Myeongdong.

Convenient in Seoul
We stayed in this hotel for three nights total and were overall pleased with our experience. The wifi internet was a weak signal though and the shower had no curtain which made the entire bathroom soaked every time the shower was used. But the convenience and price made these little things worth it.
Room is very comfortable for the price. The hotel is located close to Sinlimun subway station which is kind of far from the center of Seoul. It's also located against the street. However, it was actually fairly quiet at night. The bathroom is small but it's functional. Overall, it was comfortable.
