Room was really small, we booked a double room, we could barely fit inside. The cleanliness was subpar, the bed was really bad, the AC and the TV didn’t work. The only good thing was that the location was excellent. It was a part of a longer trip so if you’re not traveling with a backpack and staying for only one night I would recommend avoiding this place.

Easy check in. Clean room. Convenient location. Free breakfast. There’s also WiFi and laundry facilities. I had a private room with my own bathroom so that was great. Reasonably priced. Cons for me is that the bed was a bunk bed. I realize it’s to allow for more space, but the ladder to climb up could be better positioned. Also, they need more dryers.

The staff were very helpful and kind. However the value for money was not there in our opinion. The first room we were in was a very small double with no windows and we paid nearly $400 AUD for that night. We were not expecting fancy accommodation but certainly expected more for that price. The booking did not mention no windows, in fact we recall it showing windows in the photos. The second room that they moved us too on night two at least had a nice outlook and was a little more private. The laundry facilities were very good. Commercial grade and fast and 24/7 access. The accommodation is very dated and there is no security or card swipes to come in other than your room. The location was right in amongst the hustle Myeongdong, which is what we wanted, but for the amount we paid, we would choose somewhere else next time.

At the USD $50 or so price point, then very good value. But not so much if the walk-in price is $75 or above. Very clean rooms although common areas are shabbier. Good breakfast included. Very hard to find so be sure to get a diagram showing which small streets to walk down from after getting off subway exit 8. Next to Royal Hotel for frame of reference. Great location once hotel is found.
