Girls Trip 2025

While we had a wonderful time during our stay, improvements could definitely be made. Upon arrival, I had to sweep the entire back porch and patio area. The cabin had an offputting smell, possibly a dead animal? The hot tub had NOT been cleaned which resulted in skin issues for a couple of us. Eww. The driveway and steps were much steeper than depicted in the photos which made it difficult for those with mobility issues. There were broken fans and light fixtures. This place needs a little love.

Great location!

This was great for 2 adults and 2 kids! Super convenient to everything we wanted to do! Felt private and enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. Pool was closed with a sign saying “closed for season” first full day we were there which was disappointing but thankfully it was open the next day.

Traveling cross country

Property was great, very clean. We only stayed 2 nights on our cross country trip. Beautiful area, pool right across from the property. Beds were very comfortable, they supplied laundry detergent, which i forgot to pack. Only issue was the stairs. My elderly father had a hard time manipulating.

What a disaster

If I owned a home & had Vacasa manage the property, I would be embarrassed to have others stay at my home. The mechanism on the sofa bed was broken, (they did replace it the next night.The pool (advertised as open 24 hours daily) was closed for pool maintenance. We were told that the HOA did not inform them that the pool would be closed. In reading older reviews, it seems this was a problem back in 2022 as well. We booked this place based on the pool availability to fill in hours in between the daily excursions. The property manager offered us a $100 refund - a paltry sum for our inconvenience. The dishwasher was on it's last legs, and there is a soft spot in the flooring near the dishwasher - some family is going to rent this place and will fall through the floor at some point. The dryer barely functioned - needed 3 cycles to get clothes remotely dry (and they weren't large loads). The kitchen hanging pendant light looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several years and there were cobwebs in various places in the cabin. Thank goodness the AC worked well. We were given 1 extra TP roll for each of the 2 bathrooms, and the tissue box had 1 tissue showing, and one in the box. Needless to say we had to purchase additional supplies to get through 4 days. There was only 1 extra trash bag - nothing under the sink - again - we had to purchase more. Not a very positive experience. I will avoid Vacasa managed properties in the future.

Great family cabin

We had a great stay at “Playin Hookie.” The check in and out process was very easy. It was nice and clean and in a great gated community. We had an issue with the pull out couch not going back in and the property group came out that day to fix it. The only problem was the pool was closed for 2 days- not consecutive, for maintenance. The pool was a big reason why we chose this cabin, so that was disappointing. Obviously it wasn’t the owners fault and it didn’t deter from the cabin, but it would’ve been nice to know beforehand if it was a scheduled closing. Would definitely stay here again!

Smokin’ Time in the Smokies

The cabin was great place and a great location. Everything was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Only thing we were surprised about was the dirty pool restrooms and the pool and area was not very clean. We all know you have no control but would like to know because we’re sure you pay an association fee. Thanks for helping us make great memories!

Peaceful getaway

This cabin is near the heart of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. There was plenty of room for my husband and our two adult children. We enjoyed the feeling of being secluded even though there are other cabins nearby. The staff was very professional and quick to respond to my messages.

Get Away Near Dollywood

Cabin was exceptionally clean, stocked with essentials. Easy to get to and gated area. Only suggestion is to provide more trash bags in kitchen please. Thanks. We will stay again!!!

Close proximity to main area of Pigeon Forge and 10-20 minute drive to Sieverville or Gatlinburg. Would stay here again. Loved tge peacefulness of the resort.

Could use a little TLC

Cabin is small and cozy - inside was mostly as expected - needed some attention to details - front windows(especially uppers)were quite dirty. The only access to either bathroom is through the bedroom(s). There is no mountain view. Front stairs(only entrance) need to be power washed, front deck needs to be thoroughly cleaned and possibly treated for spiders(they are everywhere) - the back deck(where the hot tub Is) is dark and not real inviting. If this was my first ever cabin I had rented I might have been more impressed. We LOVE the pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and have stayed MANY times....we've rented 6,8,10 different cabins and all were better than this one. It's not horrible, I guess it just depends on your expectations. I did contact them and they did come clean the spider webs off the front deck furniture. I just feel that it could use a little TLC and maybe better attention to details - Also bedroom TV was not usable due to their "system" not being easily figured out(maybe detailed written instructions?). Just nothing real impressive or luxurious about it. The pool is nearby and a decent pool(but it's just a pool, nothing more, nothing less - it was a tad chilly too)

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Spacious home with lots of windows showing off the beautiful surroundings! Very nice communitypool. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs and swing on the porch. I would definitely return!

Nice but needs some repairs.

The kitchen has some soft floors and makes you very uneasy. A few minor issues but the only concerning one is the kitchen floor. Would not rent again because of that.

Family Vacation

Great location to Pigeon Forge tourist attractions and Gatlinburg. Easy access to a pool. All the amenities (whirlpool, laundry, video games, shuffleboard, coffee maker, kitchenware) great condition and wonderful to use. Linens were clean. We really enjoyed our stay. We would love to duplicate this cabin in our own property some day for a house up north. We would definitely return. We did want a place that was not high up in the mountains and this was perfect!
