Firefly Cove is a dream get away, tucked into a quiet cove in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains, you'll feel like you have escaped to a world all your own.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-All linens and towels are provided.
-Firewood is available for purchase at all local grocery stores.
-There is a washer and dryer for your convenience, a single starter pack of laundry soap is provided.
-In case you can't stop at the store before you arrive, a starter pack of toiletries is provided, including two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels, a hotel sized shampoo, conditioner and bar soap for each bathroom.
-Drip style coffee maker.
-Life slows down in the mountains, this includes the Wifi. Wifi is available, but it is not as fast as you are used to.
-Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier.
-In the mountains you will see bugs and occasional wildlife.
-The driveway to the cabin is a little steep. We maintain it regularly, but frequent rain occasionally causes potholes.

LIVING ROOM
Cuddle up on the large sectional sofa to enjoy the fire, watch a movie or just gaze out the double doors into the treetops.

A large Roku TV is available for you to log into your subscription services so you don't have to miss any of your favorite series.

KITCHEN/DINING
The large kitchen is perfect for cooking a family meal and has all the dishes and cooking utensils you need! The kitchen features a double gas oven with convection cooking.

A drip coffee maker, blender, toaster and mixer are also available.

The dining table comfortably seats six and there is an additional bench available for added seating.

BEDROOMS
3-King bedrooms on the upper level, 2 bunkbeds on the main level
MASTER
The master bedroom is located upstairs and has a comfy king bed and an en-suite bathroom, complete with walk-in shower with double shower heads and a jacuzzi tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of activities or hiking in the mountains. Log into your own favorite streaming subscription with Roku Guest to watch TV.

Two other large king bedrooms upstairs, offer comfortable sleeping space with access to a shared full bathroom. Roku TV's are also available in each of these rooms, log into your own favorite streaming subscription and enjoy!

BUNKROOM/GAMEROOM
The kids bunkroom is the perfect hangout space for the kids and provides sleeping capacity for 4 people (2 bunkbeds). The whole family will have hours of fun playing foosball or board games. A large Roku TV with guest login is also available so that you can login to your own subscription service or watch one of the free channels.

OUTDOOR SPACE
The upper deck, off the living room has a screened in patio which is an absolute dream in the woods! Eat dinner outside without pesky bugs flying around. After dinner, enjoy a ping pong play off or play one of the other outdoor games like giant Jenga.

On the lower deck, you'll enjoy relaxing in the rocking chairs and watching the fireflies as the sun goes down. The outdoor firepit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and a charcoal BBQ grill is available for your outdoor cooking desires.

Getting to Firefly Cove
Please take note of the directions provided in your check in message as GPS is about 98% correct. You will travel along a short gravel road to get to Firefly Cove. The road is drivable, however cars with a lower profile (ex. a prized vintage corvette) may not be ideal for this drive. The road is regularly maintained, however weather and heavy trucks could cause rutting.

Other Things to Note

Everything slows down in the mountains, including the WiFi. WiFi is available but will be slower than you are used to. Streaming TV's or doing a quick internet search should not be a problem, however this is probably not the right location to work from home. Cell service can be spotty depending your carrier.

Please note that this property is located in the mountains, there are bugs and sometimes wildlife.

With all the amenities that Firefly Cove has to offer, you might not want to leave, but if you do, you are a short 20 minute drive to all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer.

Cove mountain rd

Property not clean at all amenities very poor. I have never stayed in A cabin like this one, the heat only heated the bedrooms, not throughout the cabin, freezing downstairs, burning up in the bedrooms. Everything was dirty cobwebs in the corners doors would not open or close get stuck you get locked out. I had to leave door upstairs unlocked so I could get in. I will be calling there’s too much to write

Perfect for families!

We had a wonderful vacation. There is plenty of room for parking which can be a problem with rental properties. We loved the game room and the screened porch. Make sure you turn on the little lights above the bunkbeds. Everything that you need for home a way from home.❤️

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It’s in the perfect spot if you want to be within minutes from everything. We enjoyed our front porch sitting as well as some ping-pong and Pac-Man. This was also perfect for our fur babies. There is a nice small fenced and backyard for them to run about because there are bears in the area. The only downfall was the cooking utensils and pots and pans, but we made it work. We are a group of eight and seem to need more to cook with. The master bathroom is phenomenal and the beds were super comfy. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back You

Beautiful home almost perfect.

The seller was on top of things, the home was beautiful, and location great. However the cleanliness was a little disappointing. We vacuumed and had a full bag the first day we arrived. The upstairs was better than down stairs. If you plan on cooking bring pots and pans. Only 2 smaller skillets available. Even with the two negatives we had a great time and extended our stay. If we didnt have to clean on arrival I would definitely give 5 stars.

Best hideout in the beauty of Nature

First of all thank you Stacey for everything. We had a last minute change of plans and needed to change our reservation for further dates because of family emergency. Even though it was last minute request Stacey understood our situation and helped us with our change request. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Place was so clean and perfect. We had everything we needed. Again Thank you Stacey for clear instructions for the check-in. Place was 10 mins away from pigeon forge and 20 mins from Gatlinburng. We will definitely be visiting this place soon

Cabin deep in the mountains

We loved our stay in the cabin. The drive up to the mountain was beautiful. The cabin was the perfect for our stay. There was a wide variety of games to keep the children entertained through out the stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our only critique would be that we had to purchase extra trash bags and cleaning products (Clorox wipes) just because there wasnt enough supplied for our week stay but we would definitely stay at this house again and recommend it for families.

Great spot for the whole family!

We really enjoyed our visit and the cabin was amazing! It has so much room and has everything you could need. It really is only 15 minutes from everything and you feel secluded even though you have several neighbors nearby. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay the the max. Owners leave a dog crate and dog bed for your pet so u so not have to bring one from home. Check in was super easy with door code. Kitchen was stocked with all the supplies u need to cook. Beds r newer foam mattresses which were super uncomfortable for me because i am so thin so i slept on the couch. A nice fenced in backyard for the dogs. We REALLY enjoyed our stay! There is a nice jetted tub in master. The ping pong table was AMAZING and we spent hours every night at it.

Amazing get away!

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway and plenty of space!! Was worried about not having cell service but actually did have great service! Would definitely recommend this house and I would most definitely stay again!

Family Getaway

The house is adorable with plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy! It was a great location away from everything but close enough to enjoy the sights! We hiked in the Smokey Mountains, tubed down the river, went to Dollywood and visited Gatlinburg. (All conveniently located) Also enjoyed a wonderful rain shower while sitting on the screened porch.

Family Stay in June

The cabin was wonderful and we had a great time!It was in a very great location and well kept and clean.it was also very quiet and relaxing.Stacey was excellent to work with when we were getting reservations a Snead very responsive when we had questions about the property It was not far from Gatlinburg, Pigion Forge , and Smoky Mountains National Park definitely recommend this cabin!

Mountain getaway

We were a group of nine plus one dog (the fenced in backyard was a plus) ..Cabin was roomy enough and the game room provided lots of entertainment for the kids. It was a 20 minute drive to Dollywood and the main strip. Owner is so nice and quick to respond to messages.

Little Green Cabin Close to It All

Stacey was amazing to communicate with. She was very helpful and quick to respond to all our questions. Super comfortable beds upstairs. The only things holding me back from give this a 5 star rating would be the cleanliness of the place, which I inform Stacey of and she offered to send out the cleaning crew, but we would have had to remove our dogs who were there with us. Not ideal. There were several broken chairs and utensils in the kitchen. Plus several of the games that were highlighted in the listing didn’t work or missing several pieces. I think a good inventory of the cabin and some very detailed cleaning is just what this place needs. A part from that, we would consider staying again if all items were addressed. Location to town is just right and the quietness of the neighborhood was just what we needed. Hope this helps!

Family vacation

It was a nice location. Close to everything but still private. On top of a mountain wasn’t expecting that but overall the place was peaceful and spacious. We loved our vacation and home away from home. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Week Long Stay

This was a perfect sized home for 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 4,5,6,7). The downstairs play/sleep area for the kids is what initially drew us in to book here and it did not disappoint! The kids loved the space, all the games, board games, huge bean bags to lay on, bunk beds, their own TV and space. They loved it all. The 3 king sized beds were very comfortable/welcoming at the end of a long day. The kitchen came with plenty of dishes/cookware to use. The fenced in backyard was great for our pup & the laundry room was convenient. The house is located ~ 15-20 minutes from the main attractions in Pigeon Forge and was easy to find with the directions provided. There are neighboring cabins, but it is still secluded and offered privacy. It is right next to a small creek that you can sit on the porch and listen to and relax and a fire pit for evening s'mores and family bonding. The only cons (minimal) were that cell phones do not work well here and many times I could not get calls, but that was explained beforehand, and Netflix and other streaming services still worked just fine. The second small thing was that construction on a new home is taking place in front of the cabin, so there was some noise on weekdays due to that. However, they never seemed to start early and it didn't wake us up. The homeowner was always very quick to respond and so kind and understanding about any issues that came up during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
