BEWARE OF VACASA!!!!

We checked in on Monday and during the night the air quit working, my wife contacted Vacasa at 9 am and we didn’t hear from them until after 4pm. They sent a tech out and the tech informed Vacasa that the air could not be fixed and on top of that the DECK WAS A DANGER OF COLLAPSING!!! They refused to move us to a cabin in Gatlinburg without us paying a lot more or we could go to New Tazwell Tennessee over an hour and a half away. We had tickets pre purchased for our children to do things but they didn’t care. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!

Could of used a good cleaning

Cobwebs everywhere. Ceiling fan dust wow. Carpet needed a deep cleaning. Mold in the big bathtub. With all that we didn’t feel confident using the hot tub Definitely could use new mattresses and cleaning being the beds. Cute cabin just needs better cleaning and some upkeep.

Exactly What We Expected

We loved the seclusion of this property. It was located in a perfect spot to head either into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Even with the terrible traffic of the area during peak season, being located in the middle gave us the flexibility to plan ahead and not be stuck as much as other places. This was also a very pet-friendly spot for our aging dog, with main floor access, minimal steps and carpet, which isn't very common. (Note, there is no real good outdoor area for your dog to use the bathoom, but you can walk to some areas to take care of business) There are a few minor updates that need to be made and wildlife intrusions to address (we brought these up after check-out and expect them to be handled), but it comes with the territory for a house in this area, and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The cabin needs some renovations!

The decking around the hot tub needs replacing and the outside furniture needs replacing! The kitchen was well supplied with the necessary items. Bathroom door upstairs was a bit annoying but I don’t think there’s anything that can fix that problem. The drive in and out is treacherous at night. Someone needs to make the direction clearer because the maps wants to send you through someone’s private driveway and if you go past there, there’s no other signage to tell you where to turn. Once at the cabin, parking isn’t fun! We had two large vehicles and it was an experience each time we came in and out. Location was great with exception of getting to and from the cabin. Will we choose these particular cabins again, no.

Great Cabin and Location- Needs deep cleaning

Great area close to everything but needs serious cleaning. Musty Smell, cobwebs everywhere, greasy substance on counters, hair and debris in the hot tub traps. I assume this is because the cabin hadn't been opened in a while, but it seems as if they would have sent someone to ensure cleanliness before vacationers came in.

Beautiful place, amazing cabin

My groomsmen and I stayed a weekend for my bachelor party. I was so impressed with how neat everything was, the hot tub was clean, just an all around great place. Very close to Pigeon Forge, but far enough away that you don't hear the traffic from the city. Amazing time, definitely want to take my wife there for a little trip!

DONT STAY HERE

This place has so much potential but who ever they have cleaning this place needs to be fired. Dog poop on floor as soon as we open the door!! This place Smelled horrible, the carpet has so many pet stains that have been ignored. This place needs a serious deep clean. Hair all over table, night stands, and in “clean” sheets We spent our whole vacation trying to contact someone they finally issued a very small refund AFTER we contacted vrbo. Finally got ahold of a supervisor at vacasa and she was very helpful and her customer service was amazing, but the hoops we had to jump though to talk to someone was very time consuming for our already short vacation. We have stayed in many cabins in the area and I’ve never had to complain about cleanliness. Dirty dishes were placed back in drawers, found hard cheese on a rubber spatula. Toilet seat downstairs was broke I understand dust and cobwebs esp in a cabin but this was a uncomfortable amount. Spider webs all over in very reachable places. **** please note other reviews where they have responded “sorry about your issues they have been taken care of since your stay” TRHESE ARE LIES!!! went though and read other reviews from previous stays and nothing was taken care of like they said” ***

Cozy and Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed this cozy cabin! It's tucked away in the heart of the mountain, but close enough to town that it was no effort at all to get to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The cabin had all of the amenities that we needed to make us feel at home! The neighborhood was quiet, with the exception of a few small animals that scurried around at night. We enjoyed the sunshiny days as much as we enjoyed the day of rain. The property owners were responsive to our questions as we planned our trip, and everything was just as promised! We can't wait to plan our next trip!!

Beary Comfort Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It is in a great location, close to the parkway and access to the National Park, a short drive to Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. The cabin does need a couple of repairs to be made. Several cabinet knobs were missing and multiple light bulbs were burned out. Overall it is a nice cabin.

Mostly a great stay

This is a pet friendly cabin, so we knew that going in. But there was a noticeable pet stain odor coming from the living room carpets. They could use a fresh shampoo. Be careful typing in the address here too. There another address on Wildwood Way and not Wildwood Forest Way. The first one will take you a bit out of the way and in a very sketchy area. Just be aware of that. The photos showed a washer and dryer, but that closet was locked and unable to be accessed during the stay. Minor complaints is all. The cabin is located close to town with wonderful views and the hottie was very clean and ready to be enjoyed. We would stay there again for sure, just please shampoo those carpets more often!

New Years Vacation

The stay was wonderful, house was clean and very homey feeing with the Christmas decorations they had put up. Everything worked perfectly and was just a short drive to town.
