The cabin was located in a peaceful, quiet area just a short drive from many popular local tourist destinations. The neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic. In fact, we only saw about 4 people and cars during our 4-day stay. The cabin is in the woods, so critters were abundant. Frogs croaked in the creekbed, spiders greeted us with webs stretching across the bridge, but all of that was to be expected in this woodland escape. We had an evening living room mouse visitor but notified the property agency who assured us they would call an exterminator. I'm not sure the exterminator visited during our stay, as we weren't around very much. There were also millipedes in the bedroom/bathroom area that seemed to multiply each day of our stay. For a cabin in the woods, these were small inconveniences. Overall, the cabin is in a quiet area with a great layout, open spaces, and opportunities to relax.
