We absolutely loved our stay at the Roundhouse Resort. There's mini golf, pickleball, basketball, a hot tub, a swimming pool, a pool table, and so much more. The rooms are in great shape and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable for our family. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was really nice, well maintained, lots of fun activities, like mini golf pickleball, swimming, hot tub etc. however the room was not great. It was serviceable but smelled faintly of curdled milk, pretty sure it was coming from the upholstered chair. We should have said something but it was a booked weekend and we didn't know what they'd be able to do for us.Also the sheets and towels were really rough.

I have asthma and I had terrible episodes the whole time I was in the room. Lots of chemical smells. Our only outdoor window was a view of the parking lot behind the apartments and a fence. I assumed it was more open and rustic. It's got a very pristine landscape. Our front door opened up into a huge area filled with tables and chairs. Most of the time there was construction going on inside this area and sometimes very loud with lots of dust. When we arrived, the pool was not open. Although it was clean and well cared for, we did not get the atmosphere we were looking for. I do not recommend it to anyone who thinks they are getting a cabin or a view. Long way to drive to have a view of asphalt and concrete and fences...Also, suffered too many asthma attacks the whole time I was in the room to say I enjoyed it. Only when I was in the room and no way to open up a window safely to let fresh air in.

Decent place but watch out for the manager
This place met our needs and had a lot of stuff for the kids to do. The property is a bit outdated and could use some repairs, but our condo was very clean. My one complaint is with the manager. Checkout time is 11 am. At 10:44 am she was knocking on our door and before we had a chance to answer, she put her key in and unlocked our door. Luckily nobody was naked! She reminded us that “checkout is at 11 am and it’s almost 11”, but it was only 10:44 am…I really didn’t appreciate that. It felt rude and like she was rushing us.

I really liked the rates for the room and the amount of things to do at the resort. The kids had a lot of fun. We did have a hiccup when checking in. We called when we reserved on Expedia to ensure we would have a ground floor room and when we got there they had us upstairs. My mom cannot do stairs. When I explained they quickly checked that they had a first floor room for us and gave us that room.

We usually stay in the cabins at the other resort on this same property, but booked a one-bedroom here by mistake. Overall, our stay was pleasant. However, due to the multiple huge spiders that greeted us as soon as we entered and the fact that the mattresses were some of the worst we have ever slept on, we won't be back. Even my kids woke sore and said they were uncomfortable all night and couldn't wait to get home. Staff is really nice, but we don't see the point in staying somewhere that we can't sleep or get any rest at.
