Spacious and clean

They upgraded our room from a standard room to a Deluxe king which was nice and the room was very spacious and had a comfortable leather couch with a great view to the Red River. Room was very clean and bed was comfy.

Outdated hotel and casino

Hotel is very outdated. It was very cold. The rooms need major updating. They were clean. The heater did not work well the room stayed chilly. The casino is very small with not a big variety of games. Staff is very friendly but I would not stay here again.

More casino than hotel

Valet parking was closed on a Saturday evening, which I might have thought was a peak time. The parking garage is relatively close, diagonal block to the hotel, however, even though there are elevators and a pedestrian walkway back to the hotel,it is a long walk with no luggage carts seen in our entire stay. The check in desk is in an out of the way location. You should be prepared to carry all of your belongings with no luggage cart, quite a long distance from the parking garage to your room. For an older property, it's what you'd expect. Old. The shower head was dangling there, so water placement couldn't be changes, very old, mustysmoke smell (expected) even in our nonsmoking room, nothing was updated. It was quiet and cleaning was average. If you expect it's going to be an old hotel, you won't be disappointed.
