The Alma Domus really couldn’t have been any better for my 2 night stay in Siena. As a solo traveller I’m used to a small room and a single bed but the room was spacious and I had a queen bed. Bathroom was large and shower hot with good power. Everything was immaculately clean. I even had a view of the Duomo! Particularly pretty at night. Location was perfect. Everything you want to see within a 10 minute walk. And breakfast was a treat. Cappuccino, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries & other sweet things as well as meats and cheese. Fabulous - thank you.

What a great place to stay in Siena: inexpensive, clean, safe, and very pleasant and welcoming. They serve a remarkably generous breakfast each morning in a beautiful dining room.

Alma Domus was a gem! The view from the room was magical! We could also see the statue of Santa Caterina to the left. All of the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was amazing every day, a great variety!! Handy also to have snack, water and coffee machine. The location was perfect as well… we were close to everything. Siena is hilly, so be prepared for that! There were a couple of great restaurants just at the top of our street…especially the pizzeria! This hotel was perfect for us!

We loved everything about our stay apart from the parking which is quite a distance from the property and a bit tricky to find if you you don't know the roads. It was raining heavily and we got saturated walking back from the car park. Otherwise we had a fantastic view from the room, the breakfast was lovely and the room was comfortable.

Other than a beautiful view from 2 large windows in our room, the room was not fancy. Comfortable bed, and everything that we needed. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The front desk people were helpful and welcoming. Nice restaurants close by with wonderful views of the city.

I would give this hotel 20 stars if I could! It was a wonderful location for our stay in Siena. Our room (superior with balcony and city view) was AMAZING. The view from our room was postcard perfect! Check-in was easy, smooth and SO friendly and helpful. We were able to park very near the hotel to unload our luggage, then moved to free parking located a short 10 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast which is included was fresh, clean and very plentiful, with lots of options to choose from. We enjoyed great meals at restaurants just steps away from the hotel as well as several in the Il Campo and Piazza areas. Just a perfect location! Woke up to the sound of beautiful church bells and the drumming of local contrasts marching through the streets.

What an amazing stay! The hotel is in a great location from the bus stop (we came from Florence). Walkable to all the main sights. Its quiet except you can hear the bell ringing in the morning but this was really nice. Everything was clean and good facilities, breakfast had great choice ! The staff couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating both before and after check in/check out. The luggage storage was especially convenient. I wish we had stayed another night, I would definitely stay here again!
