Avoid rooms near the lifts. You can hear the whooshing noise of moving lift late at night from second closest room to the lifts.

Expensive for what used to be a good biz hotel.
Our room view is neighbours building roof not worth mentioning. The rooftop bar picture is not as it looked in reality and staff don’t seem to understand service and English. You can view 2 neighbourhoods hotel pools next door, their pool are being used vs. Carlton’s empty each time we visited. The pool is small and uninviting. The coffee bistro at lobby was expensive. The concierge is the most helpful he convinced us how easy it is to take the MRT from hotel. The hotel location is very good for hawkers dining and MRT.

Stayed at Club room for 4 nights, a neat, clean, & quiet room. Located at convenient location, 15-18 minutes by Taxi or Grab to key locations i.e. Airport, Universal Studio Singapore, Art Science Museum. 1 minute walk to 7 eleven, MRT station, local supermarket, Hawker centre and shopping mall 100 am. Staff are professional & friendly. Highly recommended

We paid for breakfast but the hotel would not let me bring breakfast to my room for my wife. They said they were afraid the foods would be contaminated and unsafe to eat when taken outside of the restaurant. I feel they treated me like 3 years old kid! I have traveled to 60 countries and have never been treated this way!
