Overall, was somewhat disappointed in our stay. During check-in, we were given a room with 2 single beds when our booking was for 1 king bed. When we called the concierge to clarify, the service staff did not offer an apology for the hiccup but asked whether we were ok to stick to the room with 2 single beds. This shouldn’t be the approach as we expected better from a 5-star hotel. Next, the drainage for the shower is dismal. Just by turning on the shower head for a few minutes and the shower was flooding as the water couldn’t drain in time. Had to wait for the water to drain before continuing with my shower. The mini fridge did not seemed to be working despite it being turned on. Generally expected better from the hotel with its legacy and reputation.

The hotel is nestled around the quiet nature part of Orchard road and has a nice view of nature which blends well with the hotel surroundings. I love the out of the norm design of the building as well as the overall green achitectural features and ecletic displays! Room were comfortable with excellent soundproofing to get optimum sleep as well as full glass window views of the outdoors! Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeble and could offer much advice on activities around the vicinity. There is also a beautiful pool to lounge in! Excellent place for staycation and to relax from the bustle.

Loved my stay at the Goodwood. Stayed in the serviced apartments section of the hotel, which was very comfortable and private. All the staff were both friendly and professional. A pity the main pool was closed for maintenance but the smaller pool was still an option and they offered pool access at a nearby hotel.

Our "Heritage" room was one of the best rooms that we have ever stayed in. Spacious, elegant with many drawers and wardrobes. We were within walking distance to 2 MRT stations, Newton Food Centre and Orchard Road. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Would love to come again!
