Vaulgier, the owner, is a wonderful host. He takes time to enjoy the company of his guests, after he prepares a great breakfast! It is a remote, but stunning location, and his future plans for a spa will be a stellar addition! We will hopefully return.

This guest house is nice and clean in general. Two issues: 1) It is hard to access for people who don't know this area. Google map provides house location but no road info for navigation. Suggest owner to provide driving direction in description, particularly provides GSP point of drive load from route 76. 2) The house has too much flying insects in bedroom in summer.

This property is 3-5 km off the main road. The house is lovely and peaceful. The property amazing! It sits on the water where a river flows into the fjord. Watching the birds was incredible! Highly recommend for nature lovers! We hope to visit again!

This was probably the best and most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Gorgeous peaceful location on the sea at the mouth of a river with many nesting birds. Amazing views from all windows and angles. A horse farm with sheep. Shared kitchen and luxurious beds. Quaint cottage interior with great ambience. We had the whole house to ourselves because it was not fully booked at this point in the season. It is a remote location on a long dirt road, other reviewers were helpful in pointing out that directions work only on Apple Maps for some reason but those worked perfectly! Wish we had stayed longer here since it was so relaxing. The host was kind and trusting of us, and flexible even though we came in an hour later than the end of checkin. We can’t say enough good things about this gem!

We had to wait over an hour (after the agreed arrival time) before the host arrived. We had to call to ask what was going on.
