Knee Deep on perheomistuksessa oleva rantahotelli, joka tarjoaa upeat näkymät Atlantin valtamerelle takana olevista kannista ja veden näkymistä jokaisesta talon ikkunasta. Kuuntele aaltojen ääni, kun lepäämme merenrantahuoneessasi. Herää upealle auringonnousulle, kun nautit aamiaista meren etukannella. Vietä päivän katsella delfiinejä leikkiä surffailla tai vain rentoutua auringossa ja lopettaa päivä katsomassa auringonlaskua yli ääni. Polvi Deep tarjoaa 4 makuuhuonetta ja 3 1/2 kylpyhuonetta, joista kaksi on master makuuhuonetta. Olemme äskettäin uusittaneet Knee Deepin sisältämään tuoreen sisusmaalin, uuden lattian, päivitetyn keittiön ja kaikki uudet huonekalut. Voit olla ensimmäisten joukossa hyödyntää upouusi ilmeemme.

We had a wonderful stay. The property location couldn't have been more perfect. Amazing views of both the beach and sound. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. I will definitely be coming back to stay here on my next visit.

Cant wait to come back!
The house and property were exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 and we took full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and the grill outside. Sitting in the living room or out on the decks looking at the waves and the beach was the perfect way to start the day and we were lucky enough to get beautiful sunsets and a few lightningstorms to watch out over the water in the evenings. We cant wait to come back!

Nice spot away from the action
We've been coming to Topsail every summer for about 15 years, so we've seen a lot of different places for comparison. This spot is overall a really great house! Here's my breakdown... 1) House is a good size. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and entertainment are good. A prior visitor left their Peacock subscription logged in, so we got to watch Jaws :-) 2) Beach supplies at the house are great! Umbrellas were provided, and a couple of carts helped us get our things to/from the beach. A short walk of maybe 3-4 minutes, nothing major. 3) Good view of both the ocean and the sound. 4) This is the northernmost tip of the island, right by the New River inlet. There's signs at the beach warning about swimming during high tide and the currents, and you should follow that advice. Low tide is totally fine, and actually really cool as there's wading pools and huuuuge sandbars that let you walk 50 meters out and still be knee-deep. 5) During high tide you can't walk very far down the beach. This area was hit hard by the last hurricanes, so there's a big beach protection zone of enormous sandbags. At high tide the water comes right up to those, and some unfortunate houses now right on the waters edge, and you can't really get past it. Not a huge deal as high tide is like "beach siesta" anyway, so you just find other stuff to do. Overall I'd put this one in the top 80% of places we've stayed for the great combo of price vs location vs beach access and layout. Thanks to Mike!

Cute house!
This was a great house for a family trip to the beach! The host was very responsive and we did not have an extensive check out list like most rentals do, which was nice! The only thing that I would note for the next guest is that when they say they don't provide linens, they truly don't provide any linens at all. So also come prepared with the smaller items like hand towels, kitchen towels, bath mats, etc.

This was by far the most disappointing rental we've ever had with VRBO. Desperately needs repairs.
Arriving we noticed a strange, stale odor and had to buy air fresheners. During the week we found other air fresheners stashed around the house showing this was not a new issue. In one of the bathrooms we found belongings of a previous guest including prescription meds. We notified the owner who asked us to set it aside. Traveling with 5 children and simply putting it aside doesn’t seem like a safe response. When Amazon delivery came a few days later for the same person someone was sent immediately to pick it up. I asked if this missed bag meant that the bathroom had not been cleaned and was assured that it was fine. In another bathroom I found a dirty used bandaid on top of the toilet brush showing that both the bandaid had gone unnoticed and the toilet brush unused. Limited space to type so: -most surfaces in home were sticky -unlocked closet full of power tools 1st floor -SEVERE slant to house -interior doors don’t work correctly either don’t close or don’t open and most don’t lock -master shower door rolls open and must be held shut while showering -washer smells awful -faulty lint trap fire hazard in dryer -broken bullnose on top step: tripping hazard -pullout sofa in loft sags almost to floor -kitchen blenders and bathroom hair dryer don’t work -kitchen faucet leaks -boxes shoved under every bed and in closets -rain leaked in through elec. outlet in living room. I do not recommend this home to anyone until it has seen some major improvements that go beyond cosmetic.

Shouldn’t complain, I’m at the beach!!
Very cute house, nicely decorated and stocked. My main issue was I didn’t know it was a duplex when I booked it, very good shots of the house in the pictures, I should have done more research. This was our first duplex and we got lucky, our neighbors didn’t know it was one either. I’m not sure the cleaning staff did the best job, I notified Mike so hopefully things will be taken care of for the next guests. The sunsets were amazing, we loved the pond behind us. The ducks, turtles, birds and frogs at night! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad but further than I thought. It’s very quiet being at the very end of the island, no shops, finally realized North End Market was available on Thursday for emergencies. Lots of military traffic in the water and sky which was fun and watched a sand dredger! We saw a horseshoe crab and stingray but no shark teeth, only the fun smooth rocks! We enjoyed Topsoil Steamer, Daddy Mac’s Beach Grille, Shaka Taco, and Celtic Creamery. Also loved the Mr. A’s Beignets truck we kept seeing, our first time having those, mini funnel cakes! This was our first trip to North Topsail Beach!

Vacation trip
We had a good vacation. Location was quiet but far away from stores/restaurants. Host did send detailed places to visit in the area beforehand which was great and he was very responsive. House was spacious and functional for everyone. The beds were uncomfortable. Overall a nice and quiet stay.

Summer Ends
We made the short drive to the beach to bring summer to an end. The house was spacious and met the needs of our family of nine. For safe swimming, the walk was a bit longer than we expected, but doable with small children. The ocean views were as advertised, and was a beautiful way to start and end the day. We appreciated all the beach gear on the property, and the promptness of the property manager answering any texts and questions. We also appreciated being able to check in a bit early, and it worked out for us to have a late check out as well. Thank you. 😎

The home sways during storms.
The owner, Mike, was responsive and kind, and the location was wonderful. The shore on the north end changes dramatically year to year, and we learned that some years the shore is non-existent on the north end, so we fortunately lucked out for our trip. The house is on stilts and it sways significantly during big storms, which was alarming. When storms come, the movement of the home seems to create new issues, which require constant maintenance according to the local property manager. When we arrived, our shower door slid shut, but after a storm one night, it slid open each time you tried to shut it. We had clogged drains, some fixtures coming out of walls, and it was clear issues highlighted on earlier reviews (dust and debris on ceiling fans, for example) remained unaddressed. We contacted Mike about a few issues, and as I said he was responsive, but unless you wanted the property manager in your home daily, it wasn’t worth the trouble of resolving everything. The property manager shared that the structural issues with the swaying could be resolved, but no GC in the area would take the project, given the liability exposure with the house sharing a wall with the house next door. Mike sent an email highlighting there would be a bottle of wine upon our arrival, which we thought was a thoughtful touch, however there wasn’t a bottle of wine when we arrived. We asked Mike about it via text, he did not respond to the message. Not a big deal, but disappointing.

The host Mike was top notch. Always responsive, before and during our stay. Lots of beach gear, no need to bring a chair or umbrella! The kitchen was well stocked as well. The views are incredible! It was a little tight for our family of 9 but cozy. We enjoyed it!

Our Knee Deep Week
We were blown away upon entering with the gorgeous views from the living and dining room. Our bedrooms faced the beach with individual access from both rooms! I even watched egrets play in the marshes as I washed dishes in the kitchen. Our grandkids loved the living room upstairs. As previously stated, the house has been well stocked with essential needs. You may want to add the baby essentials in your listing. We were a little skeptical about the swimming warning signs but we were cautious. We all felt that we enjoyed the calmness(no waves) of the water much more! I loved the beachy feel and the decor of your home. We are so thankful to you for sharing it with us ! We had a lots of fun and made precious memories!

Cleaning
had a nice time but house needs good cleaning. Fan in downstairs master cover in dust, When we arrived dust pan was laying in middle if downstairs bed, vacuum sitting in middle of floor in same bedroom. Rug for upstairs sliding door was laying on arm of sofa. Lighting in dining room was horrible. and neither sliding door in downstairs bedrooms slide. We loved having the yard for the kids and all of the beach supplies.

Great Views--Bad Beds
The views and location were outstanding. Very short walk to the beach and river. The house certainly needs some TLC as far as repairs and cleanliness. The beds however, are a completely different story. We were deprived of sleep every night for two weeks. The mattresses were like trying to sleep on bedrock. Very, very uncomfortable. The livingroom couch was equally as bad. With new mattresses, new couch, deep cleaning, minor repairs and a lot of TLC, this place would be the best of the best on North Topsail.

We enjoyed our weekend on the beach! Loved having access to the beach right out the back door and this corner of the beach seemed sheltered from the wind too! So much beautiful sand! Three generations stayed under one roof!

Great location, home needs some TLC
We stayed here once before 5 years previous and loved the location. This visit was a little rough. - When we arrived, the house was unlocked and the back doors were wide open. - They was heavy dust on the ceiling fans and air vents. - The ceiling fans and light fixtures have rust and some need noticeable repair. - The air filter for the HVAC appears to not have been changed in a long time. - The house is noticeably tilted to one side - The maintenance man came to repair the washer during our 2 week stay. This was OK since repairs were necessary, however he let himself then announced himself. This was unacceptable for multiple reasons, women and children in the house. - The Owner needs to put money and repairs back into this property.

This property was beautiful inside and out. The amazing water views from every window and the short walk to the beach made our time there truly special. The kitchen is well stocked that you need only groceries. The communication with the owner was top notch.

Nice private beach house
Our extended family flew down for our nieces wedding and family reunion. The house had a wonderful set up for our large group with 3 levels. The main living area is on the 2nd floor, bedrooms are on first and third floor. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood as well as the privacy we had at the house and beach. There were a few issues when we first arrived but Michael, the house host, was attentive and quick to respond to resolve our issues. Overall the house was clean, well maintained and enjoyable.

Diamond in the rough
This property has such potential to be a great beach house. It appears that home owner has updated many areas in the house in regards to appearance. However the home still needs repairs in other areas. Many areas wouldn't take much to fix and I'm hoping home owner will follow through on this (ceiling fans working properly, blinds openings/closing, lights in shower, door handles function, air vent covers replaced ) just to name a few. My biggest concern was the cleanliness. Not sure what cleaning company home owner uses but would definitely consider changing. There were some positives such as short walk to beach, kitchen was well stocked and 3 full baths. Home owner was very receptive when I communicated my concerns. I wish Knee Deep success!

Great beach trip, no crowds
As per the VRBO description this house really has fantastic views from almost every window. With open lots on either side and beach to the front and sound behind, you really get that private beach experience. The house was as described with plenty of space for our two older children, grandma and uncle. Everyone had their own space. The beach was a 2 min walk along a private boardwalk as the house has a small pond in front which was filled with birds which we really enjoyed watching from both of the ocean facing decks. Flat screen TVs in the main area and all bed rooms. Main area probably in the 60 inch range which paired great with our Apple TV. Wifi was plenty adequate for all of our devices. One of our best nights was playing the provided Trivial Pursuit which we hadn’t played in years. From booking to check out, property owner Mike was always available. He even ordered us a hair dryer from Amazon when we forgot ours. The beach chairs, beach cart, and umbrella which were provided we used every day. We cooked fresh seafood several nights. Highly recommend David seafood!! Overall a really enjoyable family beach vacation.

Amazing property
The overall communication with the property owner was great! We were there for our wedding at a venue that was only a mile away. The location was perfect, it was extremely quiet. One side is the sound and the other side the ocean but amazing views all around. 5 stars across the board!
