Double-booked Nightmare
This is a very nice property and seems spacious if you have a pet with you. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the host of this property that I hope will help future VRBO customers.I wish I could tell the full story, but VRBO does not give us enough space. Long story short, please be sure to confirm with the host they have not double-booked your stay. My family checked into a dirty, cleary not ready home at check-in time. We were told the home would be ready the next morning for move-in. We were told our accommodations would be reimbursed for the night and provided with hotel recommendations. The next morning I was notified that our reservation was canceled due to the rental being double-booked. Within 12 hours I went from being assured that we'd have a home to stay in, to my reservation being cancelled. I could have used that time to find accommodations for my family.Double bookings may happen. Especially when properties are listed in multiple sites. I want to thank the host Devin I spoke with the first night. She was very kind, caring, and respectful. The person I spoke with the next day told me Devin never promised anything. The host did refund my full VRBO charge. I did not get a reimbursement for the hotel stay that I was forced into.Again, the property is great if you want to be in the area. Just make sure you confirm you are not double booked.
