Three bedrooms on the upper level; 2 Queen beds, and one full bed. as well as two twin beds in the recently added (2023) lower level spare room. Amenities include free WiFi, washer/dryer, central heat-A/C, (Ductless Mitsubishi Mini Splits all room except 3rd/double upper level bedroom, which has a window A/C), outdoor shower (hot & cold water), gas grill, and charcoal grill. In addition to the new lower level bathroom and spare room, there is a large recently remodeled family room, for games or relaxing movie nights. Come kick your feet up and relax... enjoy the sun and sand and then a nice sunset in the evenings on the screened in porch listening to the birds sing.
Did we mention location? Block Island Ferry/Galilee, and Newport are 20 to 30 minutes away, respectively. In the other direction, Misquamicut and Watch Hill are about a 20 to 25 minute drive. Mystic Seaport Museum and Aquarium are only a short 35 minute drive, while Foxwoods is approximately 40 minutes away.
Don’t feel like driving? Hop on your bike, and head south down Green Hill Beach Road, in less than 10 minutes you’ll find yourself at pristine Green Hill Beach. On the way, you could stop first, at Green Hill Park (tennis courts, basketball court & playground), which is only ½ mile from your vacation home. And, and if you don’t feel like riding your bike, there’s something fun and whimsical, directly across Green Hill Beach Road from Bedford Drive - the South Kingstown Sculpture Trail.
Don’t want to leave the house? Then don’t!! There’s a large, level backyard, where you can play catch, cornhole, croquet… Have a cookout (gas & charcoal grills provided) and enjoy your meal on the large screened in porch, or outside on the picnic table. Then, top the day off with an evening around the gas fire pit -- S’Mores are mandatory. :-)
Just minutes from 103 Bedford Drive, there are multiple beaches (parking pass to Matunuck Beach is provided), restaurants, small grocery stores, ice cream stands, a wildlife refuge, and… well, even more. So come, relax, explore, and enjoy your vacation… you’ve earned it!!
