Great bang for your buck
Great stay for the price. Room was cozy and warmed up when we arrived with the fireplace. Bed was super comfy. Great location!! We could hear our neighbors but they weren't too loud. You can also hear a lot of car door slamming open and closing from the parking lot but thats expected in these types of motels. Bring ear plugs just in case. otherwise would stay hear again.

Nice room, broken heater
The room was clean, and nice. The cookies were a great touch. The only issue was that the door was not sealed properly and the heater did not work. We froze all night. When we woke up the room was 30 degrees. Way too cold.

The area itself was beautiful, the room was clean and well decorated. We were excited to stay there, until we turned the TV off to go to sleep. The windows and walls are so thin we could hear the conversation of everyone outside, and the worst part was the couple in the conjoining room next to us. At 1am when they got to the room we could hear the entire argument they had, and we could hear every step they took, to them throwing things around in the room, to the gentleman snoring in the room next to us. I would absolutely stay here again if the walls weren’t so thin. It made our stay miserable.

The getaway!
Just a weekend getaway. Our room was very clean and the king bed was so comfy! We stayed here cause it was close to Harvey’s where we had dinner at Hell’s Kitchen. In the morning I went to the community room and used the Kuric to make two great cups of coffee. All in all a great stay! Much thanks!!

The room was super clean. The room was pretty sound proof which is a plus when people are having a good time down stairs. I would definitely stay here again. Not far from downtown. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown.

Unfortunately we are dissatisfied to the fact that we were assigned a bottom floor room even though hotel was half empty, after upstairs guests were told we couldn’t sleep because of the lack of noise barrier from old squeaky floors and walls they kept making noises after 10:00 PM they just didn’t care, it was a long extremely loud noise up to 3:00 AM unbearable when people upstairs walk, loud talking/TV… this location is close to the Nevada borderline where the casinos are. The check in is made online, office placed guests right above each other, then if people not respect silence hours it’s a problem, we contacted the numbers provided but no option to move us was offered right away since person said needed approve from the mgmt team. Being in Lake Tahoe with this kind of noise with no one in person at the hotel left us with the sensation of vulnerability, to us ruined all the other good things that hotel has to offer. We only wanted/needed to rest, people have different plans while traveling the minimum requirement it’s to be able to rest within the “resting hours” at least. Sorry but not having someone capable to resolve this type of issues when occurs was very frustrating. I would not recommend this place if you want to have a quiet experience.

This is a very simple place. Newly renovated, clean, not fancy. Certainly worth the rate. Parking can be an expensive part of your stay in South Lake Tahoe so the included self parking is valuable especially since lots of restaurants and shopping are walkable.
