The better than new Westlands Lodge is a 3 story home with plenty of room for the family to spread out but then gather again in the beautiful living room. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but still an easy drive to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer-explore the mountain bike trails, Heavenly Ski Resort, Sierra At Tahoe ski resort, the lake and beautiful beaches and waterfalls. If you don't want to cook at home there are a wide range of restaurants in town to choose from.
As you enter the great room your eyes are drawn to the soaring vaulted ceilings and the windows overlooking the forest like backyard. This floor includes the living room, dining room kitchen, half bath and primary bedroom suite.
The living room is accented by a 60" TV and a stone fireplace (gas, easy no need for firewood).
There are sliding doors leading to a deck perfect for summer BBQs.
The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, granite counter tops and is well equipped for family feasts. The dining room table will seat 8 and there is seating for 6 at the kitchen island.
Up the spiral staircase off the living room there is a game loft a shuffleboard table and a game console with Ms Pacman and many other classic games. This is a great spot for the young and young at heart to relax.
The primary bedroom features a California King Bed, a 40" TV and a queen sleeper sofa. The ensuite bath has a jetted tub and a separate walk in shower.
The additional 3 bedrooms are located on the lower level along with a family room
The family room features a 50" TV with Blue Ray, a sleeper sofa and plenty of room to have a movie night.
Bedroom 2 has a king bed and a sliding door to the backyard, direct access to the hot tub.
Bedroom 3 features a queen bed.
Bedroom 4 features a bunk bed that is a XL Twin above a queen

There is a full bath on the lower level with a tile tub/shower combination.
HVAC with two zones for heat control, air conditioning, whole house humidifier and an air purification system for your comfort.
While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.
When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared. This street is not a primary plow road
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snowplows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low-profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries) This street is not a primary plow street, it may take a little while.
