This comfy duplex style home is sandwiched between the Sparkill creek in front and the stunning Tallman State Park in the back.
Stepping outside onto the front porch built in 1917, a right turn would take you to the quaint village of Piermont, (population 2,500.)
A left turn would direct you to the charming and yummy Hamlet of Sparkill.
Both laid back spots are teeming with delightful top notch restaurants and yet just 30 minutes from Manhattan.
(A bus goes through here too!)
Sip a coffee on the porch overlooking the Sparkill creek and watch the bike enthusiasts wizzing by.
A short stroll can take you shopping local or a quick hike, can invite a picnic at Tallman State park, for birdwatching and perhaps catching a glimpse of NYC. For the little ones, there are fun, safe parks that are walkable in Sparkill and Piermont.
Inside-
The open kitchen, dining, living room invites a casual flow, opening up to the side garden for a cocktail or BBQ.
There is a full size kitchen and breakfast bar with gas range, plenty of storage, a full size frig with basic condiments. A Cuisinart (Keurig style,) coffee maker fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar also.

There are 3 bedrooms upstairs.
The primary bedroom has a queen size bed with armoirs for your clothing. A TV is provided.
A second bedroom has a Full size bed, built in closet and TV.
A third bedroom has a comfy single size pull out bed, (sleeping one.)

Wonderful!
This was a perfect place to call “home” while we were displaced for renovations. The charm and history were incredible. And the quiet and peacefulness were second to none. We especially enjoyed sitting by the pond in the garden. The proximity to Piermont and all the great restaurants and shops were also fantastic. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful stay
From our first meeting with the owner, we knew our family would have a lovely, comfortable and convenient place to call home for a couple of months while our nearby home was being renovated. The house is well-appointed and well-equipped, and located close to the charming towns of Sparkill and Piermont. The owner is lovely, personable, and responded right away to any questions. We feel fortunate to have found this home.
