This is a very nice property. Pool is really nice and beach access can’t be beat. There were some minor issues with the room; bedside tables - which were part of the headboard/attached to the wall - were falling off the wall/slanted so that stuff slid off. Bathroom wall shelf had similar issue. Would be nice if beach chairs were available to guests for no charge - complimentary beach/pool towels were nice, though. Staff were all very friendly & helpful.

Property was ok. The toilet in our room was for a very short person and we are very tall. That needs to be improved on. Our balcony door would shut all the way. The restaurant on site was pretty good. Staff was nice

Oct. 24-26, 2024 ocean front room. Overlooked the pool. Thoroughly our stay. Beach access is great with that little shaded area with picinic table on the walkover. Tiki bar was great with areas of shade around it. A1A is right there with a bike lane we rode to anistadia St. Park. Beach can be driven on (not form hotel) with car or bike. A nice smoking area for those who still smoke. We ate at Santiago’s Restaurant (associated with the hotel) each nite not just for convince but also the menu is great. Christi our bar tender/server was great. Live dinner music on Friday night. All staff were great. We did have ants in our room 438. No big deal. Reported it at checkout and they called in maintenance while we were saying ‘bye’. Great place. Highly recommend it. We will be back.

Beautiful Beach
Beautiful! We came during the less-busy season and were able to score the beach (mostly) to ourselves. It was glorious! If you haven’t seen the sun rise and set on the beach (especially St. Augustine Beach), you are missing out, my friend!

Really enjoyed our stay at the resort. Staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Restaurant was good. Only “complaint” is I wish beach front hotels/resorts etc would put detachable shower heads in all rooms, not just handicap.

We've been vacationing in SAB for over 20 years, as my family owned a condo next door to this property when it was still a Holiday Inn before they remodeled and rebranded it. The physical building is older, but they've done an excellent job remodeling it, yet parts still seem very dated. The room was clean and comfortable, so that's what's most important to me. They had all sorts of activities around the pool while we were there, and the walk to the beach was short and easily walkable. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!

Rust around bathtub hardware, tub didn’t drain very well. Front area/restaurant/lobby area very nice. Rooms and halls leave much to be desired. 1 piece of art in the whole room and it is in the bathroom. Average hotel that is showing its age in the rooms/hotel building. Could use some updating, but serviceable for being able to walk to the beach. Pool was too cold to really use.
