We choose this hotel thinking it would be convenient for our kids because the rooms have a microwave and refrigerator..once we checked in it was horror the room was dirty, the pillow cases and sheets was dirty. As soon as i checked in and came up to the room i ask the front desk for pillow cases n sheets i had to change them myself... the microwave was dirty and the toilet had stains under the seats.. after calling expedia..explaining the situation they call the hotel, expedia told me the manager stated she didnt think it was a big deal... like are you kidding me this had to be a joke.. the manager never offered to move us to new room Because she stated they were booked and she cant offer a refund.. my vacation is ruined.

The rooms were huge! Unfortunately the walls were even less sound proof than most hotels my family and I have stayed in. Also, the breakfast area and coffee station could use some serious flow organization. You have to go back and forth constantly and silverware is tucked underneath the counters where other guests are standing reaching next to their below the waist areas.

The hotel was very convenient to visiting St. Augustine and the surrounding area. There is construction just south of the road it's located on which made it a little tricky to get there the first time. After that, it was easy. The only problems we had was that the ice machine on our floor quit working the third day. I reported it, but it wasn't fixed. We left after the second report, so I don't know if it was fixed. Also, the TV lost its guide feature after the first day, and Netflix wasn't available free as advertised. When I brought this up to the front-desk person on check-out, he was surprised because the system had just been updated to allow access to Netflix. We did have a problem with parking one night because we were late returning and there was a tanker truck taking up 9 parking spaces. When we reported it to the front desk, the clerk went out and moved her car to give up a spot. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, despite the very minor problems we encountered. It was one of the quietest hotels I've ever been in. The hotel was full, but the only noise we heard was an occasional door opening or closing. We didn't even hear running water from the adjacent room. P.S. The mattress was wonderful. I was wishing I could figure out a way to get a king-sized one in my small SUV. I would have tried to buy it if I could have.
