This charming Davis Shores neighborhood is one of the most sought after little niches on the island. A community of towering Oak Trees, sidewalks for riding bikes or walking your dog. A place where children play and neighbors know each other’s names. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Intracoastal on the other, it is a sleepy little setting close to beautiful beaches and a good walk to historic downtown, where you can get swept away with the stories of people and architecture from hundreds of years ago. There, shops and local artistry line the streets and so many restaurants with tantalizing scents and aromas wafting out their doors to tempt you to try their specialties. One as sumptuous as another…The clip clop of horse's hooves as the horse and buggies meander past on the cobblestone streets give a graphic depiction of what this may have looked and felt like days gone by. Leave the bustle of downtown behind as you cruise back to Lion’s Sail for cocktails by the pool, a barbecue in the backyard, or a leisurely swim. The fresh salty air still lingers here as the beach breezes blow past. Only a quick bike ride to the State Park Beaches or a quick drive to all the others, but you have Nirvana right here at home at Lion’s Sail, so put your feet up and relax. You can jump back into the action at any time. But for the moment, let time stand still and enjoy this space, this time, this place. Welcome to island time. Welcome to Lion’s Sail. Enjoy this zen space…
