We have always returned here for a number of years for rest and recuperation. Primarily because of the location on Grande Anse Beach and also close proximity to the airport. The rooms are comfortable, clean,spacious with great amenities. We booked three rooms for family who also travelled to celebrate their birthdays. The staff were really friendly and professional throughout as they accommodated our preference for our units in close proximity to each other. Breakfast and lunch were really nice, and the only reason why I did not give five stars was simply that the kitchen was extremely slow for dinner. We enjoyed our stay and would once again recommend this hotel. Thank you to Renee and all the other staff who welcomed us.

Pros......The pool area and beach was beautiful. All the workers were friendly. Cons.....The hot tub did not work and towels were very limited. Our room had tiny ants crawling in the bathroom. The rooms could use some more upgrade.

In need of a vacation after this stay
The solitary picture I attached to this review is of the line. It took over an hour to check in. About halfway through the General Manager (GM) mobilized the distribution of water and juice. They had enough seating for less than half the persons waiting, so we stood for the entire hour. I did not receive any GOLD hotels.com member perks. The room was as advertised. Between 4 PM check in day and 2 PM the following day I had to reprogram keys, call maintenance, and get assistance from housekeeping no less than 8 times because we were unable to access our room. Additionally the AC was not cold. Saturday the 14th we were moved to another room. Same general layout but this time with working keycard access and AC. The general demeanor by staff at the front desk was "this is someone else's problem" and that would explain why I had to get angry and ask to speak to the manager for them to change the rooms. I still spoke with him after the fact to explain my displeasure. It was just the icing on the cake when my purse was stolen from my beach bag at the pool on Sunday the 15th. I made an incident report the same night and at checkout on the 16th nothing had been done. No security camera review, no call nothing. Today Sept 18 i went to the property to follow up and was informed, three days after the event that there are no cameras by the pool even though on checkout day, I was told the GM was reviewing the camera footage and would get back to me 'shortly'.

Well maintained property Slow checking in process Excellent location Beautiful beach front Service at the main restaurant need improvement They failed to apply vip discount to my bills twice I have to ask them to redo the check both time Food was good but took them way too long to bring them out. I ordered 4 of the same orders for 4 people 2 of them came out after waiting for almost 40 minutes and the other two ( same food same order) came out 1/2 hour later. Very annoying

What I did not like is the distance that one may have had to go to the room since it is a resort and does not go beyond two levels and with the blocks spread out over a large area, geting to the dining room took literally four minutes for me to get there. What I did like was the fact that the resort is on the beach and one did not have to walk to far to get to the water.

I liked the easy access to the beach. I liked the free parking, the beautiful large pool, and the included breakfast. I did not like the lack of air conditioned space in the indoor restaurants.
