Brilliant hotel with a great staff team. We stayed in a wonderful suite with access to the M Lounge. The weather for mid October was incredible and as a bonus we got Malta!! We visited Valletta and Medina and there is so much more to see. We’ll be back

Deluxe Room, King Bed, Non Smoking, Sea View (Balcony) Refurbished in 2019. Good quality materials, fixtures and fittings. Very clean. Very helpful lovely staff. Nice large room and bathroom with bath and shower, and separate toilet. USB-A charging outlet bedside. Room service daily and evenings. Complimentary bottled water daily. Small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Standard hotel electronic combo safe. Hair dryer. Iron and ironing board. Nice wardrobes. Towels, flannels, robes and slippers provided. Great view over Balluta Bay from room and balcony. Nice size balcony, but only chairs and table (no loungers.) Nice fitness centre (gym.) Only very small criticisms I can make are: 1. No handset in shower. 2. Taps in bath and shower are ordinary mixer taps, which means when someone in another room turns on their cold tap then your shower loses cold and gets very hot, and vice versa. At a 5-star hotel I would hope for thermostatically controlled taps to avoid this. 3. Floor of shower was a rather slippery and I would have liked a rubber shower mat. I mentioned this to the front desk and in check-in feedback, and next day housekeeping brought me a rubber shower mat – excellent. Overall a very good hotel in a great location. We had an excellent stay.

The Marriott is and always will be my choice to stay at in Malta, the facilities are excellent, service is professional and attentive, with friendly people throughout and the rooms upheld to a high standard. You can tell management and their teams work very hard and I would recommend it every time.

We had a fantastic stay - the hotel is clean, modern, with a good array of services including 24hr room service. The hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring Malta with St Julian’s and the Sliema ferry to Valletta just short walks away. Massage at the Spa was very good, although Spa area was a little basic in terms of facilities (just a pool, sauna, and non-working steam room). Staff generally very friendly, but not universally (but we found this across Malta in general). Great hotel, great location, and would definitely stay again!

The Marriott was excellent, from the room turn down service to the super breakfast. It had great facilities and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful; nothing was too much trouble. We even enjoyed free cocktails and canapés with the Manager. Overall a first class experience and we would definitely recommend it.
